"I think we're good for today. We should be able to finish this if we work on it another day," Jake said while Heeseung nodded in agreement.

"Look at the new girl. She didn't even do most of the work yet here she is," Heeseung scoffs.

Jake laughs before pointing at the supplies. "Can you put the board and papers away? I think we should just head downstairs and let her sleep a little here."

Heeseung nods, taking the things to his closet, sliding it behind the door before making his way down the stairs with Jake.

I suddenly open my eyes, continuously blinking while trying to clear the blurring in my vision.

"Shit, my head.." I said, feeling around my surroundings.

"Am I..."

Then I remembered; I fell asleep on the floor while working on the project with Jake and Heeseung.

I suddenly grabbed my hair, pulling at my scalp before groaning of both frustration and embarrassment.

"Why do I keep embarrassing myself," I murmur to myself.

I frantically felt around, grabbing my phone before staring at the time on the lockscreen. 10:19 PM.

"Ten? TEN?!" I shouted, before quickly getting up. "Shit, shit, shit. Mom, dad, and Yujin are gonna kill me."

I slowly creek open Heeseung's bedroom door before quickly making my way down, bolting down the flight of stairs.

Just as I reached the bottom of the stairs, I suddenly collided with someone who was about to make their way up.

I stumbled back from the bump, about to fall over before the person quickly wrapped their arms around my waist, steading me.

"Shit, I'm so sorry.." I mumble.

I glanced up at the boy before meeting his intense gaze. Like the others, he was a brunette with overgrown hair, parted down the middle. His thick, defined eyebrows that were visible, even through his long bangs that curtained over. I glanced down at his lips that were slightly parted in a small smile while his fang-like teeth peaked out subtly. I acknowledged that he was also, very handsome.

"You're the new girl, right?" He asked.

I raised an eyebrow before rubbing my head from the previous collision. "Yeah, that's me," I reply.

"Are you okay?" the boy asked with a concerned expression.

I hadn't even realized that his arms had stayed wrapped around me the entire time. I cleared my throat before softly shaking out from his gentle grip.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I choke out.

"Why are you in such a rush?" the boy asks with an amused smile.

"Uhm, I accidentally fell asleep and I realized I slept for way too long..." I say, laughing nervously.

He laughs in response before a voice calls out.

"Sunghoon! Come here!"

Sunghoon smiles, gesturing with his head to follow where the rest of the boys were. I nod before hesitantly following him to the living room.

"We were waiting for you, man!" Jake said, patting a spot beside him on the couch for Sunghoon to sit.

"Oh, look who it is!" Jungwon exclaims. "Looks like she finally woke up."

I roll my eyes in embarrassment. "My parents are gonna kill me.."

Heeseung shrugged, laughing beside me. "Sorry, new girl. You just looked way too comfy."
