"Seriously Sua?" I huffed, my voice still groggy from just waking up

Sua giggled through the phone. "Girl, get up! I'm picking you up in twenty minutes!"

I groaned, not having the energy to protest. "Fine.."

I hung up the phone, slamming my phone onto the nightstand.

"Give me a break," I muttered before crawling out of bed. I made my way over to the bathroom before brushing my teeth and taking a quick shower.

I threw on a tank top and a pair of low-rise jeans while walking over to my vanity. Just as I was about to sit down to do my makeup, I noticed the leather jacket from Jay that I left on the chair from last night.

I picked up the jacket, walking over to the mirror. "Should I wear this today..." I mumbled, asking myself.

I rolled my eyes before throwing the jacket onto my bed while sitting down at my vanity to do my makeup.

Once I was done with my makeup, I texted Sua that I was ready to go.

After what seemed like forever, she finally made it to my house. I quickly grabbed my phone and purse and ran down the stairs.

"Bye Yujin! Tell Nina and everyone else I'm gonna be at the mall," I called before leaving through the front door.

I came outside only to see Sua sitting in a pink car parked in front of the driveway. Sua looked up from her phone before she waved at me.

"Took you long enough," I laughed, getting into the car.

"Hey, I didn't know traffic was gonna be so bad!" Sua defended.

I groaned. "Why are we going shopping again?"

Sua looked at me with wide eyes. "Girl, did you forget? Enhypen's throwing their first party of this school year on Friday! If anything, you need to be the center of attention by wearing something eye-catching."

I shake my head. "Yeah, not happening."

"The dress code is always semi-formal, but girls usually go all-out," Sua said, ignoring my remark. "So that's why we have to find the perfect dress for you."

"Oh, about Enhypen! How was the project with Jake and Heeseung?" Sua continued while backing out of the driveway.

I quickly remember all the embarrassing things that happened. I didn't wanna surprise Sua too much so I just shrugged. "Nothing special."

Sua groaned in disappointment. "You went to the Lee Heeseung's house and you're telling me nothing special happened?!"

I softly smack her on the shoulder. "I told you, I only came over to do the project! Obviously nothing was gonna happen."

Sua rolls her eyes. "Well, how are they? Were they flirty or were they really mean?"

I think for a moment. "They weren't bad at all, actually. They're pretty nice."

"Well that's good," Sua smiles. "How were your partners?"

"Jake and Heeseung? They were fine. Bickered a little bit with each other but I finally found out what the deal is with Heeseung," I said, playing with my sleeves.

"Uhuh," Sua says, intrigued.

"Apparently he didn't even realize that he was glaring at me, I don't even think he heard me when I tried to talk to him. He probably had earbuds or something in," I replied.

"Really?!" Sua replies in surprise. "So he wasn't trying to ignore you."

I shrug. "I guess so. He told me he didn't even know why he was staring at me; he didn't realize he was glaring, I guess."

Sua ooh's before looking at me with a smirk before I roll my eyes. "Stop looking at me like that. Whatever you're thinking, it's not gonna happen."

Sua giggles before turning her attention back to driving.

Soon enough, we made it to the mall. Sua quickly parked the car before we both got out and made our way in.

Sua was practically dragging me into any store she could find, determined to find me something to wear.

"That! That's perfect!" Sua finally said before I groaned of relief. We were at the mall for nearly four hours. Sua had already found her dress for the party while she helped me pick mine.

Of course, she was being nit-picky about every little detail for every dress I wore. "Too long," or "Too many things going on." It was giving me a headache, but I was thankful to have someone like Sua to help me.

"Are you finally happy with a dress?" I huffed, rolling my eyes.

Sua giggled. "Like I said, you have to wear the most eye-catching outfit there."

The dress Sua picked for me was a was a sleek, satin dress in white that was loose and flowy near the ends yet tight around the waist. There was a high slit that ran up the left side of the dress and had two straps that firmly wrapped around my shoulder.

"I'm ready to go home," I muttered, putting the dress back on the hanger while sliding on my clothes back on.

I grabbed the hanger with the dress on it off of the hook before following Sua over to the front to checkout. Sua had picked a short yet flowy dress in a glittery rose-gold. The dress had spaghetti straps and was also tight around the waist.

After what seemed like forever, we were both finally done with picking out our dresses and made our way back out to the car while Sua carried a bunch of other shopping bags.
