school bell for lunch
signals.

I stand up from my desk,
frowning at the realization
that I didn't bring lunch with
me today.

I roll my eyes, patting the
wrinkles out of my black
skirt and collect my things.

I watch as Ronin already
slip out the classroom,

wishing he would have
waited for me so we
could leave together.

I calm down my sad
emotions, reminding
myself that Ronin
strictly said that
our relationship
is sacred.

Which also means
no one from school
should know.

We shouldn't give

business to
childish
beings.

As I exit the classroom,
