"Order at table four!" Calls out
manager Emi from behind the
the bar.

As I walk over to Emi, she
wears a stern expression,
having gray short hair and
purple eyes.

I take the tray away from
her hands, smiling rather
kindly and she returns
the smile back.

Business is relatively slow
today, yet here at Cafe
Dream we always get
customers.

Speaking of customers,
the person at table four
has ordered chocolate
pancakes with scramble
eggs and bacon.

And their drink choice was
plain milk.

While working here, I've
come to realize that
whatever we order
is a reflection of
who we are.

A cliche saying is, "That we
are what we eat."

This is very true while viewing
this saying more deeply.

We are what we consume,
that goes for not only food
but for information we
soak up like a sponge
daily.

Everything we view with
our eyes and the things
we allow to influence us
might save or cast us
into ruin.

"Here is your order." I simply
say to the customer who
looks distraught.

She's nicely dressed
in her school uniform,
having black pigtails
with a right side bang
and focused red eyes.

She's staring down
at her sheet of
homework
problems.

From where I stand,
I can see math
problems.
