After school I walked to the general store in search of something.

Once I made it to the store I walked straight to the art section and grabbed myself a small light blue notepad.

I wanted it so I could do summary's of information that we had learned so it would be like I could carry Pip and I's investigation wall around with me wherever I went.

I went up to the counter and bought it. On the walk home I flipped open the notepad and wrote a list titled 'SUSPECTS' on the first page. So far we didn't have any.

Once I got home I made my way to my room with my notepad in hand.

I stood in our room after school staring at the wall that Pip and I had created. I read through some of the articles we had put up there.

They were titled things like 'Beauty and the Beast' about Sal. The only confession that they had was one that was sent in a text. Other than that there was no proof that he had done it.

No one even cared that he died. 'Monster' they called him. Maybe if Sal was white the way the town spoke about him would have been different.

On the next few pages I wrote summaries on what we already had on the wall.

Later that night Pip made it home after trying to speak to Ravi and then going to Cara's house after her failed attempt with him.

She sighed deeply and fell face first onto the bed. "Today didn't go well." She told me.
I figured.

"Ravi stormed off on me and I'm pretty sure he will never speak to me again." She told me lifting herself up from her position now leaning on her arms.

"I interviewed Naomi." She told me. She pulled out her phone and started playing me the recording that she had taken.

I listened intently and gasped when Naomi had admitted whilst crying that Sal did have an alibi the night that Andie disappeared. The recording then ended because Elliot had walked in.

"So Sal had an alibi for the time that Andie disappeared?" I asked.

"Well that's what Naomi had said." She replied. "The Hasting's are having a party tomorrow so I thought that we should go and ask Max some questions." She told me.

I quickly grabbed my notepad from my pocket and wrote down the information that I had learned from Naomi's interview.

I didn't know if I should classify Naomi as a suspect but I knew that she had more to do with the case than she had told to the police.

But I still wrote her down and that she needed to be further looked into.

Pip smiled at the notepad. "Smart." She told me.

I nodded. "How are we going to get an invite?" I asked Pip. She signalled me to follow her and so I got up and she made her way to Josh's room where mum was telling him a story.

We both sat down on the floor waiting for her to finish up.

Pip and I scrolled through Max Hasting's instagram. Pip checked her direct messages with him for the hundredth time and once again there was still no response from him.
