DEXTER

My shock was apparent to all but I quickly disguised it with concern. Charlie and I have always deferred when it came to the methods of being a leader but before that he was my brother.

Whenever I found myself wanting to strangle the life out of him. Flashes of him picking up the pieces after Bella and Leo, few through my mind. I was a down right stubborn mother fucker but he consoled and took me in anyway.

Despite what others saw on the outside, I'd never betray him. I'd follow him eagerly to any battle and I have in the past. But this; this in front of me.

Seems to be out of my control. And I hated it.

"You wanna tell us what's going on?" I interrupt his little inspiration speech. To fucking hell with Luciano.

I still stood on what I said earlier. All of this could've been avoided but no I was too "blood thirsty."

This world we live in was not for second chances and the goddamn weak. It was a shame that this situation had to happen for these soft fools to realize that.

"It's not the time Dexter, please." Charlie pleaded.

I opened my mouth to report before someone spoke before me.

"Then when will it be, I thought we weren't keeping anymore secrets?" The hurt was clear in her tone.

I look towards Havana finally noticing her presence.

Havana

Where should I even begin?

My dick jumped at the mer sound of her fucking name. I couldn't place just what had me wrapped so deep when it came to her. Perhaps at first it was the excitement of having something of Charlie's that could finally be mine.

Perhaps it was the innocent persona that she portrayed to others. When underneath was a slut like no other. I was the only one that could take her there because she sure as hell wasn't getting it from Marcus.

She didn't mess around that much was evident from how hard she fought us. She was too classy for it and out of my league by a mile. But she was my classy slut though and if anyone ever fixed their mouths to call her that I'd shoot them in the throat.

A part of Charlie was afraid that she wouldn't want to see or speak to him again but I knew better. He had raised her ever since she was a baby. Those feelings didn't just up and walk away.

Charlie sighed looking my way. In response I arch a brow crossing my hands over my chest because I wanted to know just as much as she did.

"Fine, Nicholas, Jack see what you can find out about Adrianna Beckett and contact Krystal."

"Will do." Nicholas says heading toward the elevator with Jack by his side. As soon as it closed my arms dropped and a sneer was placed on my lips.

"You tell those two boneheads before me?" I questioned with my hand over my chest feigning hurt.

However on the inside I was.
