Chapter 4: The Farewell
The day Tricia passed away was the hardest day of Kelvin’s life. He sat by her bedside, holding her hand as she took her last breath. Her final words to him were, “I’ll always be with you, in your heart.”
After the funeral, Kelvin found a letter in his room, his mother explaining that Tricia had left it for him. With trembling hands, he opened it and began to read.
“My dearest Kelvin,
I will always be in your heart. Don’t waste your life grieving for me. Explore the world, and open your heart to those who want to enter. Remember, life is beautiful, and so are you.
Love, Tricia.”
Tears streamed down his face as he read her words. He clutched the letter to his chest, feeling her presence with him, guiding him even from beyond the grave.
