Chapter 24

March 11

" Angela, your dad and I are going to work and why are you up so early?" Asked Kristina.

" I can't sleep" answered Angela.

" Oh, and you might be going into labor" said David while moving his hand all around Angela's belly.

" No, and I'm just nervous about starting labor" said Angela.

" It's going to be okay, and just call us when you go to the hospital" said both David and Kristina.

"Okay" said Angela.

" Jaylen, are you hungry for some eggs,bacon, and biscuits?" Asked Angela while putting her hand on her belly.

After, Angela was done eating her breakfast she layed down on the couch and watched Baby Looney Tunes on Cartoon Network because there wasn't nothing else on TV.

" Angela, I'm going to go to school now " said Jamalwhile shaking her to get up.

" Mmmmm, okay whatever" said Angela while going back to sleep.

A few hours later...........

While Angela is still sleeping she is disturbed by someone knocking on the door. So she wakes up to get the door.

" Hey Angela" said Kenneth while about to kiss her on the lips, but she puts her hand in his face.

" Hey" said Angela while having an attitude.

" What's wrong with you?" Asked Kenneth.

"I was sleeping" replied Angela.

"Oh, and how are you feeling?" Asked Kenneth.

" I'm okay, but nervous" replied Angela.

" Oh, and where is everyone?" Asked Kenneth.

" My parents are at work, and my brothers and sister are at school, and Kianna went to go hang out with her friends" answered Angela.

" Oh, and how you hungry or anything?" Asked Kenneth.

" Yes, and can you bring my hospital bag downstairs because I really don't want to walk up the downstairs" responded Angela.

" Ok, and what do you want to eat?" Asked Kenneth while walking upstairs.

" The bag is in my closet on the top shelf" said Angela.

" Alright" said Kenneth.

" Do you want to go to Burrito Station?" Asked Angela.

" Yeah" replied Kenneth while walking downstairs with the bag in his hand.

" Okay" said Angela.

" Where's Jaylen's carseat?" Asked Kenneth.

" It's in the hall closet" replied Angela.

" Alright, and we need to put the carseat together, and do you want the carseat in my truck?" Asked Kenneth while getting the carseat out of the closet.

" Yeah" answered Angela while getting off the couch and stretching.

" Okay" said Kenneth while carrying the carseat out the door.

" Do you know how to set up the carseat?" Asked Angela while getting in the car.

" No" responded Kenneth while putting the carseat in the back seat.

" Do you want to eat inside or go to the drive through?" Asked Kenneth.

" We can go to the drive through" answered Angela.

" Okay" said Kenneth.

" Hi, and start when you are ready" said the drive through person.

" Can I get some nachos with cheese and meat, with some jalapenos on the side, 2 steak tacos, with French fries and a coke and sprite to drink" said Kenneth.

" Your total is $15.20" said the drive through person.

" Here you go" said Kenneth while handing the person the money.

" Here your food and drinks" said the drive through person.

" Thanks" said Kenneth.

" First we are going to be visit my Grandma's grave" said Kenneth.

" Okay" said Angela.

" Its been forever since we have been" said Kenneth.

" Yeah, and it has" said Angela while starting to cry a little bit.

" Let's go" said Kenneth while grabbing the flowers from the back.

"Do you remember where she is buried at?" Asked Angela.

" Yeah" replied Kenneth while walking to his grandma's grave.

" Hi grandma and it's me your grandson Kenneth" said Kenneth while setting down the fresh flowers and starting to cry.

" I knew that you knew that Angela was pregnant" cried Kenneth that he really couldn't speak.

" Hi Dora, and I miss you so much and you were so sweet and nice to me when Tina didn't like Kenneth and I being together, Also, Kenneth and I are having a baby boy and were naming him Jaylen Deshawn
and I wish that we were here to meet your great-grandson" sobbed Angela.

About 1 1/2 hour later...........

" We really miss you Grandma and well see you when we get old and I know that you have been watching over us and I love you and please watch over our son Jaylen was he is born" said Kenneth while trying to stop from crying.

" Dora, you will always be forever in my heart" said Angela while putting a hand on her belly because she felt a sharp pain.

" Are you ready to go?" Asked Kenneth while wiping his tears away.

" Yeah" replied Angela.

" Are you okay?" Asked Kenneth.

" Yeah, and Jaylen's just kicking me" answered Angela while opening the car door.

Later that night................

" Kenneth, can you come here please?" Asked Angela while in horrible pain right now.

" Yeah" answered Kenneth.

" We need to go to the hospital because its time" said Angela while trying to get up but the pain is so bad.

" Okay"said Kenneth while helping Angela off the couch and walking her to the car.
