3rd person POV

Ilang minuto lang ang nakalipas matapos ang Senate hearing ay dire-diretsyo naman ang Mayora sa office ni Senator Risa Hontiveros.

No one dared to question why she was going there or why she was there. Pagpasok nya sa office ay agad naman siyang natamaan ng malamig na aircon. She approached the Senator slowly feeling giddy. This behaviour did not go unnoticed by the Senator.

“Mayora. Anong ginagawa nyo rito?”

“Dinala ako ng puso ko rito, tinatawag nyo daw pangalan ko...”

“Corny.” the Senator says in her most serious tone.

“Ano ba talaga ginagawa mo rito? Parang ginawa mo ng daily routine ang pagbisita sa office ko. Nangungulit ka lang naman sa akin.” she sighed out.

The room was now silent. Aray ko. The mayor frowned “Umurong kilig ko ah.. sorry po your honor.”

Her sudden change of mood was quickly noticed by the Senator. “Biro lang. I enjoy your company sometimes. Pagod lang ako pasensiya ka na.”

“talaga? Wala na kinikikig nanaman kif-”

“Kumain ka na ba?” tanong ng Senator bago nya pa matapos ang kaniyang sasabihin.

“Uy first time po yan ah! Opo!” the chinita exclaimed still feeling giddy. The Senator just nodded and went back to doing her papers.

Risa POV

I just finished doing my papers and I breathe out a sigh of relief..this has been a long day doing work, and I cannot wait to rest.

As I am getting ready to leave I bumped into Mayor Alice on the halls. What the hell, she's still here?!

“Senator! Aalis ka na po pala sayang...” she pouted her lips before akbayan ako. Cute haha.

“Oo, bakit may kailangan ka?” I questioned her, noticing the food packaging she was holding.

“uhm..gusto ko lang po sana sumabay sainyo pagkain late na pala, sorry po...” she looks disappointed and that hurt me a little.

“A-ah hinde sige, hindi ko pa naman nakakain lunch ko kanina.” I reassured her

Her disappointed look flipped and I saw I glimpse of happiness in her eyes. That made my heart go a bit faster.

Anong nagyayari sa akin?!

She grabbed my hand and led me outside, sitting down on one of the bench. My favorite spot to eat my lunch and somehow her noticing the smallest details in me made me blush.

“Urm Senator oo nga pala- natanggap nyo po ba yung biogesic na pinabigay ko?” She spoke while her mouth was still full, her cheeks look so puffy.

“Ah oo, salamat ha nag-abala ka pa sumakit lang naman ulo ko.” I smiled warmly, remembering that she also left a cute note.

We both enjoyed ourselves while eating and somehow the short conversations turned long and we would crack jokes each time, she gets my humour so well. I really loved seeing laugh her eyes just disappears and I find it really cute, like a little bunny.

Our afternoon ended when I realized it was getting late. Jusku may bahay pa nga pala akong uuwian.

“Mayor, as much as I love talking to you..it's getting kind of late, I really need to rush home now.” I said in my softest tone, not trying to sound rude.
