“You’re at the training camp . . .” I muttered in disbelief.
“Yeah . . . I was there with you pero wala ka namang pinapansin. You only talk to your father and obey whatever he asks you to do.” I nodded slowly, tila bumigat ang pakiramdam dahil sa naalala.
“Sorry,” he muttered. Tiningnan ko naman siya sa nagtatanong na tingin. Kinunot ko ang noo ko upang mapigilan ang kung anumang emosyon na nais kumawala sa mga mata ko.
“I didn’t mean to make you remember those days. I’m sorry,” he said, when he saw how it affect me.
“It is okay, it’s part of me. Hindi na iyon mawawala sa akin.” Yumuko ako at pinunasan ang gilid ng mga mata.
“But still, I know how hard it was for you. Look at me, please.” Umiling ako at mas iniyuko ang sarili.

I felt his finger under my chin, lifting my head up. With this fleeting moment with him, he saw how weak I am. At hindi ito ang gusto ko na makita niya sa akin. I am not weak. I was raised to be strong all the time. No one could tame the beast in me.
“It’s okay to cry, Cinense. When you are crying that only means you are strong.” No, that’s not how I perceive it.
“Crying is a weakness.” I retorted.

He shook his head slowly, napatigil na kami sa pagsayaw. “That is not my definition of it but if crying for you is a weakness then I am willing to witness that all the time. I am willing to see your vulnerable side all the time. Vulnerability doesn’t mean the end of your world, Cinense. Hindi kailan man naging mali ang maging mahina. Do you understand? Pwede kang maging mahina sa akin . . .” He caressed my cheeks gently. I felt his sincerity, and from that moment I knew I was doomed.
I got distracted when his eyes darted on my lips. Nakagat ko iyon dahil biglang nanuyo ito. Napaawang ang labi ko nang maramdaman ko na humigpit ang mga kamay niya sa baywang ko.
Damn.
“Can I have your consent to kiss you?” Banayad niyang tanong, nang-aakit.
Namuo ang tensyon sa pagitan naming dalawa. Hindi ko namalayan na tumango pala ako! And in a glimpse of an eye, sobrang lapit na ng mukha niya sa mukha ko.
I felt his hot fresh breath on my nose down to my lips. I slowly closed my eyes when I felt how soft his lip was when it claimed mine. At nadala ako sa halikan namin dahil sinuklian ko ‘yon. He even glides his tongue inside which makes me create a sound. Damn!
Sobrang higpit ng hawak niya sa baywang ko at ganoon din ako sa batok niya. Tila ayaw naming kumawala sa isa’t isa. Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto ay naghiwalay ang mga labi namin at pareho naming hinabol ang aming hininga.
Hindi ako makatingin sa kanya dahil sa nangyari. Akmang aalis na ako sa harapan niya nang pigilan niya ako. “Wait up, Cinense. We’re not done yet. Look at me.” He ordered.
Umiling ako. I heard him chuckled. “You’re blushing.” Nanunuya niyang saad. Of course! Ano bang expect niya? Shit.
“Upo na tayo,” ani ko, nahihiya na!
“Did you like it?” he asked, dismissing what I’d said.
I bit my lower lip. “Come on, Cinense.” Tila walang pasensya niyang saad.
