taylor and her mom are heading to the beach today to get some quality time together.

they also brought y/n taylor's girlfriend because she is like a second daughter to andrea.

they got to the beach and set a spot in the back so their stuff wouldn't get wet from the ocean.

it was also for taylor's safety because she just got her career on singing started so she might get recognized.

"come on baby let's go in the ocean!!" taylor said to her girlfriend practically begging her.

"okay hold on let me put sunscreen on!" you said giggling.

all andrea could do was shake her head from how goofy you two were.

running into the water, taylor splashed you and laughed and you splashed her back.

in just a few minutes, you two were soaked laughing and having a splash fight like toddlers.

you could also feel people staring at you so you turned to see taylor's group of friends whispering about you guys.

"hey tay, um your so called 'friends' are here whispering about us. don't worry though cause i have you."

as soon as you were done speaking, taylor went to confront them.

"if you guys were my friends, why would you whisper about us? especially about my girlfriend."

"excuse me but i don't think anyone would be your friend. that's just weird for you to be dating a girl."

taylor kept her tears at bay so she walked back to her spot and sat down.

sitting down next to her, you rubbed her back comforting and hugged her.

she sniffled looking at you. her crying broke your heart.

"hey shh its okay. they aren't real friends don't let them get the best of you."

"but they also shit talked you too."

"i don't care if they talked bad about me. all i care about is you. do you want to stay or leave?"

"stay. i won't let them get the best of me."

you smiled and stood up taking her hand.

"come on, let's go get ice cream." you smiled waking to the ice cream place with her.
