I opened my mouth slightly and froze, feeling my heartbeat speed up. I stepped back and felt my palms begin to sweat. I turned and ran, but I heard a deep voice speaking. "Don't run please I'm here to warn u that you're in great danger and You are the only one in the world that's able to stop what is coming" it spoke to me I frown in confusion and turned around towards the figure I open my mouth to speak feeling my words get trapped in my throat. I forced myself to spit the words out. what?... what are u talking about!? I'm normal how am I supposed to save anything or anybody! u making no sense! I yelled out putting my hands up to my forehead getting lightheaded II watched the shadows disappear as someone called my name repeatedly and felt someone tapping my shoulder roughly. "Daomi! Daomi!" I frowned and heard the shadow whisper. "in due time..." and completely disappeared, I harshly jumped up and gaps looking around frantically breathing heavily as my heart races out of my chest. I looked over to my left where the tapping was coming from and raised my eyebrow. "the bell rung already the teacher told me to come and get wake u up to go to your next class." the random person told me that was in my math class. I nodded my head and got up, packing my things before walking to the door and leaving the classroom to go to my locker. Walking up to my locker, I saw my best friend leaned up against it, smiling. I opened my locker and switched out my books.
"Hey girly, wassup? Where were you this morning?" I asked her, slamming my locker closed and turning to face her, leaning with my shoulder against it.
"Oh, hey boo! I was already in class. You know I don't like being late. And you were late again, so I'm upset with you right now!" She frowned and puffed her cheeks, looking adorable.
"Ikk, ikk, and I apologize. I had another nightmare again, and my mom came and rudely woke me up, so I was in my thoughts and had to wait for the bus," I sighed out, smiling softly at her. "Oh, do you think you know what it means? Or can you ask your grandma?" I grabbed her hand and started walking down the hallway to our next class, recounting my nightmare in detail.
