her birthday
Daomi Cyrene Miller
dream~
I woke up in a dark room on the floor, surrounded by water. Looking down, I saw that I was in a white, torn dress. I stood up slowly and started walking around, looking for a way out. A few seconds passed before I saw a tall, beautiful castle. I walked towards it, going up the steps. Seeing that the door was left ajar, I pushed it open before stepping in. Looking around and not seeing anyone, I slowly started to walk around the dark castle in hopes of finding help. I passed by portraits of people that seemed oddly familiar. I stopped and stared at one painting that caught my eye. It was of a woman and man with a baby that looked like me.I reached up and touched the painting before gasping, getting drawn into what looked like a flashback. But it wasn't through my eyes; it was through the eyes of the woman in the picture.
As the flashback unfolded, I saw scenes of the woman's life—her joys, her sorrows, and her struggles. It was as if I was living her memories. I saw her standing in the same castle, holding the baby who looked just like me.
"Kiyomi! Kiyomi!" I saw the man from the painting burst into the room with a panicked look on his face. The lady—Kiyomi—turned towards him, still holding the child, which I figured was me, and looked at him.
"Yes, Azander, what's wrong?!" she asked, concerned. "We are under attack! The Vampire lord has come, and the war has begun. I need to get you and Daomi to safety," he said urgently.
"Wait what!? no this cant be my father has come!?" she stressed with a pained expression. then there was a loud boom and thousands of guards rushed by along with other people that was moving like lighten.
Kiyomi quickly took Daomi, her baby, into her arms. "We need to get you to safety first," she said with determination. They hurried through the chaos, finding a hidden, secure room within the castle. "I'll be right back i promise," Kiyomi said softly to Daomi, placing the baby in a safe spot.
With Daomi safe, Kiyomi returned to Azander. "We need to stop this war," she said resolutely.
Together, they began to strategize their next move, knowing that the fate of their kingdom depended on their courage and quick thinking.
