After having a heated conversation with Daniel. Shaira went for a walk. A walk in the cold air of Milan. Her eyes closed as a gust of wind smash across her face, cold yet enough to to make her come out of her misery.
Shaira smiled as she sat on one of the swings in the nearby park. Milan was beautiful. It was always has been. The architecture, the people she loved it but love was never enough to make her come back. It was her ruination and that's hurt her more.
In the moments like these she would always thought what it would be like if she just had stayed here. If she would have not hell bent on signing her life off from Milan. What if she just had put her pride down and live with Vanedestines.
Was Mr. Aestus Vanedestine was right?
Shaira shook her head. She was almost fed up of all these questions about her. She was never impulsive. She knew that by her heart and she believed in her seventeen old self. There is nothing she could change anyways. The outcomes are here so there was no reason to think about probablities.
Shaira sighed as her eyes lighten. Her impulses crave something familiar. A familiarity with people she knew that loved her. Her eyes shined as her footsteps reached the bus station.
She nervously stepped on the stairs of bus as she took a ticket of home-of the place she would go with the bus a long time back. A place which she never called home once before.
The last she was at Vanedestine Estate. She was crying and Daniel picked her up. Her hands was in her pockets as she took steps towards the estate. Her idea of home was never close to these magnificent house nor with the people residing in but she till wanted to feel nostalgic.
All her world came shattering down when Daniel pretty much disowned her. Her own people did not talk to her. Isn't it cruel for her?
Her goal was to see the estate and maybe not go inside. To silently stare at the iron gates and the garden inside. Shaira stood there in remembrance of all her past presences here. Her eyes watered a she clearly felt homeless.
Not even billion dollars could give her family and that's what hurt her the most.
"Thanks for letting me stay when I needed home the most."
Shaira sighed and she pressed a kiss on her hands and her touched touched the metal bars. It was like her homage to the place which was so imense that's he could lost in it rather than to be lost in her miseries. The room of the house who provided her the comfort she wanted the most.
It was Vanedestine Estate which stood by her and it's wall made Shaira remember how strong she was. How strong she stood here in the dark. The darkness she desperately wanted to get out.
Shaira smiled as she took deep breath to not cry here, again. She sighed as she too her step back.
"Wouldn't you come in, Ira. This is still your home."
Shaira backsteped as she faced the only person who called her Ira. Her eyes watered on her own accord. Sexton was standing there in his formals. His hair perfect. Hai eyes solely looking at Shaira like she was a child.
"Is it now, Dexton?"
Shaira said she rubbed her eyes crying like when she was seventeen.
"It always has been, Ira. This estate is your home from the day you were born and I picked you up from hospital with your nanny."
Shaira eyes watered as she toom a step in and hugged her brother. She never questioned Dexton's loyalty towards her.
"We missed you, Ira."
