"I am scared."
Shaira admitted to herself as she stood in front of Lawrence firm. The air was chipper and everything had made her more frenzy at this moment. Daniel and Diaz were precious to her. They were her support system.
Shaira knew that making Daniel to forgive her is not such an easy task. A task Shaira was procrastinating. Shaira very well knew that Daniel would not forgive her until or unless she reveals the whole truth to him.
The truth about his fiance's father. About Mr. Alexander Collins. She took a small breath when she saw Christina waving at her from the sidewalk. A small smile appeared on her face. She never admit that Christina light up her world. She was sister always sensible but giving her space, always loving her but never showing it to her because she knew how afraid Shaira is of that. She so much reminds her of her dear violinist brother.
" I know I look beautiful. You don't have to look at me like that. It's creepy, boss."
"For the love of god, Chris."
Shaira rolled her eyes as she looked ta the impeding road. Thanks to that accident Shaira was now awful afraid of cars and roads. She never drove cars because she was never ready. Everytime she did sit, she remembered Alkov's bloody face and that's it for her.
"How was your date by the way?"
Shaira asked as she remembered she was going on date when she dropped her at auction few days back.
"Horrible is understatement."
Christina sighed as she looked at her. She always stood one step back from her boss. It was protocol but it gave her sense of courage. Standing behind Shaira provide her sense of achievement as Shaira had never backed down from her challenge amd she did give her courage to do that too.
"Don't worry, Christina. I can set you up on a date."
Christina eyes widen as she looked at her boss. The boss who was never intrested in her life before.
"I will pass, Mam."
Shaira eyes narrowed as she looked horrified by the suggestion. Shaira stopped in her tracks as she looked back at her.
"He is handsome, rich and awfully similar to you with a weird taste for green teas."
Christina sighed as she looked at her boss. Noone could shake her once she made a decision.
"I will think about it but just so you know our preferences in man are far apart." A small horrified smile appeared on Christina's face. To whom she was kidding?
She was sure she would be getting on a date this sunday. It's her boss after all.
"Oh! Miss Christina Augustine. You will love him." Shaira smirked as she looked ta her.
Shaira laughed as she calmly crossed the road. The small talk made her realise that.
Christina was calming to her.
Shaira smiled switched back to her serious face as soon as she crossed the main gate for firm.
She was in no mood for any truth today. She just wanted to talk business and go home. She was behaving like a coward. Yes. Did she care? No fucking way.
Shaira's eyes widen as she saw Mr. Alex Collins walking alongside Daniel. Her eyes horrified as her steps halted. She was not at all ready. That man was one of the person who made her question her love. Who blackmailed her.
Shaira was so much in hurt that he didn't realise that Mt. Alex saw her and he was coming towards her now.
"Good morning, Miss Shaira."
