"Stop for Rose Del Street, 11 Ave," the bus announcer announces.

I stand up, hold onto the handrail. The bus stops at the station.

Two middle aged ladies, and three teenagers get out before me, I get off and walk to my left, pass the end of the colorful stacked row houses, then turn left.

Ring

Ring

I get my backpack off my shoulder and onto my hand taking out my phone, close the zip and put the backpack on my shoulders.

Another message.

Juliet.

Don't forget our date! My house is at

I turn on the keyboards.

No need for the address.

Where is the place we're going?

It's just a few blocks away from my house

Okay, see you at 8.

Yeah.

I press the other text.

Hey Tris!

I click on the top and click block phone number.

I start walking.

Large connected mid-rises of red and orange trap me in, their balconies overflowed with clothing nets, plant baskets and pots, furniture.

The smell of iccian bread makes me turn to a building, my nose quickly mixes the smell with the detergent coming from the clothing and the incense and everything else.

"How are you, Tristan?"

I turn around.

Mrs. Hushi stands on a balcony right above the Zitkala family beauty shop.

"Good, how about you and Mrs. Maddy?"

"We're great, greet your gran for me. And also, don't forget to tell her we're having an all sale on things tomorrow 14 to 15," she says, quickly putting an orange knitted jacket on the clothing net.

"Will do, Mrs. Hushi."

The fifth house above Mrs. Hushi and Mrs. Maddy's house has a couple kissing and leading towards the edge of their balcony, the man nearly falls but his partner pushes him back, deepening the kiss.

I blink the horror away, and resume walking.

I turn a corner.

Cast iron mid-rises with the color palettes of white and green line the path. Tram Red 25 comes through the east and north.
