"No! AH! That isn't the case! Stawp! Ah!"
A certain blonde head architecture student stood up from his seat slamming his petite hands on the table. His head fuming with anger, he pointed at the brunette in front of him.
"You! You're the one who set it all up!"
"What do you mean?!"
Hu Tao grinned then grabbed you with her left arm, pulling you closer, while pointing at the engraved blonde.
"It's not my fault that (Y/N) here isn't comfortable being partnered with the literature nerd!"
"You-!"
In case of confusion, here's what happened. You were partnered with the silver head literature student, Al Haitam, for your Physical Education class. However, due to Hu Tao wanting to annoy Kaveh, she convinced you to act as if you're uncomfortable with the guy, considering that the class involves social dances.
"You heard our homophobic professor! We can't be partners!" Kaveh crossed his arms before proceeding to sit as he noticed as piercing on his head - he's noisy.
"Mr. Azar agreed!" The brunette laughed followed by you who's highly amused with what Hu Tao has planned. "Plus, your partner is absent so we got to see (Y/N) dancing with Mr. Azar."
It's true, Kaveh's supposedly partner is Lyney since Kaveh arrived late for the class, due to his building being far from the dance studio, and Lyney on the other hand, is absent —due to a meeting with the office for their play—he will be on the last ones to be partnered. With Hu Tao's antics, while dancing with Alhaitam, you were pulled by Mr. Azar and was told that Lyney will be your partner.
You rolled your eyes on Hu Tao before sumpling down your head on the table with a big groan. 'Dancing with Mr. Azar is the worst and is the most embarrassing thing that happened in my entire life.' Glaring at Hu Tao, "He isn't even our dance teacher why is he the substitute?"
"Apparently, Ms. Eula had a meeting with Mr. Neuvillette in regards to training and the competitions. Mr. Azar, being there, doesn't want to cancel the class of Ms. Eula soooo..." Hu Tao sniffled a laugh making you roll your eyes away from her.
Kaveh laughed so hard that he almost stumbled his chair. Well, he would, if and only if a certain ash blonde boy didn't catch him. No, it's not Alhaitam. Lyney made his way to your table to apologize after knowing that you had to dance Tango with Mr. Azar just because he didn't attend the class.
"Careful on your seat, Mister!" Lyney cheerfully pushed back Kaveh's chair with Kaveh hiding his flustered expression with his hand. Mumbling a light 'thank you' Kaveh buried his head on his arms to avoid further embarrassment and teasing by Hutao.
"Nice save, magic boy! Is there something you need?" Hu Tao grinned at the man mischievously. "I know saving our princess here isn't just that!"
Hearing a muffled 'stop' from Kaveh. You managed a chuckle amidst chewing your food before leaning forward the table to rest your arms. Your eyes travelled to Lyney's, which is in front of you, making the mentioned boy smile with his eyes closed.
"I heard from a little bird that somebody suffered in the arms of Mr. Azar, so here I am to make an apology!"
Within a blink of an eye, the magician was beside you. Your eyes widened in surprise with cheeks bursting blushes as the space between you and the magician was a bit closer than usual considering, you've only spoke once.
Lyney grinned at your focused eyes on him, so he made that chance to bring out the rainbow rose that he hid on his sleeves a while ago. Pulling it out, he shushed with a wink.
The wink made him attractive to your eyes so your mouth went a bit agape, but what made you more awes was the fact that within a matter of seconds, there's a rainbow rose that the magician was handling you.
"For you, darling. I'm sorry you had to suffer being close to Mr. Azar. I promise, I'll be attending the next classes!"
With a sweet smile, you took the rose from his hand, smelling its fresh scent. "Thank you, Lyney." You offered him a wink, followed by a light yet naughty giggle.
A magician is good at moving things mysteriously. You, however made Lyney—the greatest magician in Teyvat's University or even Teyvat itself— magically move a string connected to his chest.
