(Y/N): Your First Name

2nd Person's POV

You pulled your hood down as you walked through the crowd, looking around the street aimlessly as you tried to make heads or tails with where you were.

"Watch it!" a horse suddenly appeared in front of you, pushing you back to the ground as it neighed in shock, surprising the other horse beside it as the coachman tried to keep them in line.

You groaned in pain as you sat up, seeing you were mere inches from the road as the crowd looked at you confused.

"Are you all right, dear?" an old lady asked as she knelt beside you, trying to meet your gaze with her hand out to you.

You hesitantly reached for her hand, unknowingly making your hood fall to your shoulders.

"Oh, my...!" she gasped as she saw your face, the crowd following suit.

You quickly hid under your hood again and stood up, hanging your head low.

"E-Excuse me...!" you blurted as you tried to snake your way out of the crowd, avoiding the attention as people started to gossip amongst themselves.

You found your way into an abandoned alleyway and hid in the shadows.

You sighed in relief as you fell to your feet, watching the crowded streets from afar.

'How did this even happen...?!'

---------------------------------------------

"So hungry..." you groaned as you massaged the back of your neck, switching between your feet to stop them from aching for a second longer.

'Keep it together...' you encouraged yourself, a migraine slowly spreading across your whole head, almost making you lose your balance.

As you waited for the pedestrian light to turn green, the crowd increased, squeezing you together.

"Hey, watch it!" a man slurred as you were suddenly pushed and started to tumble down to the road.

You groaned in pain as your body hit the cold, harsh pavement, your hands stinging as you slowly sat up, your head spinning from the impact.

'What the hell...?' you grimaced in anger, looking back to the crowd to see you were pushed farther than expected.

You tried to make out what they were trying to say, but you suddenly saw a stream of light coming from the side, slowly growing closer.

Before you could register what was happening, your vision filled with darkness, and your body grew numb.

When you opened your eyes, you were greeted with a town that looked like a Victorian painting brought to life under the night sky.
