Taehyung turned his face upward, the glow of what he knew to be the moon, whispering for his attention, his vision filled with it. It looked larger than it should have, like the Earth had pulled it closer downward, he could almost feel its magnetic pull as he gazed up at it. Despite that pull, Taehyung drew his eyes back downward from the moon glancing around himself, his breath catching at the number of moonflowers he stood in the middle of. Taehyung reached a solitary finger outward drawing it against the soft pure white petal that glowed like the moon above him.

"Hello my child."

Taehyung's head whipped upward from the moon flower he was caressing. Taehyung's chest constricted when his eyes fell upon the most beautiful woman, he'd ever seen with glowing silver eyes.

"Who are you?" Taehyung whispered even though in his heart of hearts he knew exactly who it was he was in the presence of.

"I've gone by many names in my time, but the one my children have echoed and held onto throughout time is Luna."

Taehyung's omega was clawing at his chest, desperate for Taehyung to close the distance between them and their goddess, their mother. But Taehyung hesitated because if he was here standing before the goddess Luna then that must mean that he was dead.

"Am I dead?"

Luna smiling fondly at the omega before her countered his question with one of her own, "do you wish to be?"

Taehyung's eyes filled with tears as he shook his head, "no."

Luna, stepped forward, embracing the teary-eyed pup, "hush my sweet child."

Taehyung looped his arms around the goddess, pressing his nose into her scent gland, crying harder when he breathed in geraniums, the scent that belonged to his long dead mother.

Luna tightened her hold on the omega's frame that shook with sobs that made her heart ache, knowing that she smelt of whomever he missed most.

Taehyung squeezed his eyes shut, inhaling deeply, drowning his lungs in a scent he had almost forgotten, pretending that it was his mother that held him now and not the goddess Luna. Taehyung didn't know how long he stayed latched onto her, burrowing into her as fully as he could.

"It is time for you to go, to return."

Taehyung withdrew with teary eyes, lips parting to argue, to beg to stay with her, but her silver eyes latched on to his stealing his voice away. He got lost in those bright silver eyes as delicate hands cupped his face, cradling them like he was something precious. Something he hadn't felt like since his mother's passing.

"Because you are." Luna smiled sweetly reading him through the bond she shared with all her descendants, her children's children. "To so many. Especially to those waiting for you."

Taehyung had so many questions, but none left him as his eyes drifted close without his permission. Taehyung's world went dark, no longer filled with the glow of the moon above, flowers he stood amongst, or the beautiful goddess that smelled of his earthly mother. Taehyung, fully engulfed in darkness, thought he'd be scared but he wasn't, still feeling a gentle warmth as he felt himself pulled to the land of the living.

Jimin wringed out the washcloth after dunking it in warm clean water bringing it back to Taehyung's skin wiping his face free of suds from washing his hair. Jimin had taken over caring for Taehyung, whom while he had shifted, still had yet to awaken. Jimin had barely been home over the past two weeks as he did so, choosing to stay with Taehyung. The healers had given up on trying to get him to go, resolute in caring for the omega that he'd once seen a friendship blossoming with. Jimin had remained at his side since the night he'd shifted and crawled protectively across Taehyung's wolf.
