Jungkook sat with his back to Seokjin, his thoughts centered on Jimin, along with his lingering vanilla scent that Jungkook couldn't bring himself to wash off with a shower this morning. Jungkook lost himself to his thoughts of how it felt to wake with Jimin burrowed into his chest and his arms wrapped around him. Jungkook was so wrapped up in trying to recapture the feeling through memory that he didn't hear Seokjin calling his name. Not until Seokjin was standing in front of him, waving a hand in front of his face, did Jungkook stumble out of his reminiscing to the present.

"What? What's wrong?" Jungkook asked noting the look of confusion on Seokjin's face.

"I asked what you did." Seokjin stood to his full height staring down at Jungkook inquisitively.

Jungkook cringed before he told Seokjin about what happened last night with him reopening the wound on his back. Jungkook anticipated a lecture from Seokjin when he finished but it wasn't what happened. Instead, Seokjin looked at him with even more confusion.

"Jungkook. That can't be possible because there is nothing there."

Jungkook's own brow furrowed in confusion, "nothing there? I don't understand."

"Jungkook, it doesn't even look like you were ever injured." Seokjin repositioned himself at his back but this time holding up a mirror for him to see which reflected in the one that he now stood in front of.

Jungkook stared at his back, his lips parting in disbelief, because his upper back looked just as Seokjin said. Completely healed. Like it was never injured in the first place.

"But that doesn't make sense." Jungkook spoke after a moment as he sat back down on the bed he'd stood from. "I know for a fact that I reopened it last night. Jimin even cleaned it and rebandaged it, so I didn't have to wake you last night."

"Hold on. Jimin cleaned it. How?" Seokjin asked back to standing in front of him.

"Same as you." Jungkook answered as he put his shirt back on.

Seokjin shook his head because that didn't make sense.

"Jungkook. Tell me everything that happened from when you reopened your wound."

Jungkook did as Seokjin asked, explaining again how he reopened it while sleeping and how afterwards Jimin cleaned it and rebandaged it.

"Nothing else happened after Jimin cleaned and rebandaged it?"

Jungkook cleared his throat and looked down at his lap.

"Jimin let me sleep with him."

Seokjin unfolded his arms from his chest and frowned, "you've been sleeping separately?"

Jungkook scratched the back of his neck, stealing a glance at Seokjin before he nodded his head.

"This whole time?" Seokjin asked further.

Jungkook nodded for a second time.

"Where is he? Jimin?" Seokjin asked sternly.

Jungkook looked back up, meeting Seokjin's eyes, "um, his father's I believe."

As soon as Seokjin had his answer he turned around and left to find Jimin, Jungkook following in his wake. Seokjin was furious. He figured that Jungkook and Jimin were still trying to get used to being fated mates, not to mention fated mates with a pup on the way. However, it had been a month since they'd mated, and Seokjin never imagined that Jimin wasn't letting Jungkook into his nest. It made him wonder about other things. If Jimin was letting him scent him. Scenting Jungkook. All things that the two of them needed to do for their well-being but especially for the well-being of their pup.
