After New York, we headed to Chicago, Illinois. After that, we visited the rest of the US.
I won't describe the rest of my time in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, or Africa. They're full of uneventful and bitter times that would only make me cry.
After the Americas and Africa, our plane touched down in Switzerland. It's been 6 months, and I didn't know where my heart was. I couldn't chose.
Reiji was the sweetest person in the whole world. He was quirky and fun and always knew how to make me smile. It should be him. He should be the one I should chose.
But, the only thing in the way of that was Tokiya. He looked at me differently. After New York, he would look at me like I was something to be considered. Like I was something worthy of placing a bet on. He looked at Nanami the same way, like he was weighing us against each other. But, then again, he would spend his time exploring different parts of the cities we visit with Nanami.
"Ugh!" I sighed.
Ren looked at me quizzically. "Doushita, imouto-chan?" He asked.
Switzerland was amazing. It was like entering a movie set. It was all mountains and rolling hill and little cottages and shops. Though, it was a bit chilly, even for June.
I was wearing a floral pastel pink skirt, a white blouse with ruffles on the chest, knee high socks with gold trim, pink flats, and a scarf around my neck. My hair was down with a bow in my hair.
"It's nothing." I answered Ren, looking at the goods displayed in the window.
"No, it's not." He said. "You know, Icchi is starting to have second feelings about Haruka."
"Stop telling me that!" I snapped. "Rei-chan is waiting for me... Tokiya-san is considering me... I... I don't know who to choose anymore. Everything is so complicated!"
Ren took me into an embrace. "_________, you have to choose one of them. You can't make Rei-chan wait forever, that's unfair to him and it'll hurt him more."
"I know."
"And, you have to tell Icchi what you're feeling, or else he's going to put a relationship on hold and that's going to continue to confuse him."
"I know."
He nodded. "Good. Now, what do you want to do first?"
I stopped paying attention, staring past Ren, who also turned around. Tokiya whispered something to Nanami, who blushed and smiled. He smiled back. He leaned in and kissed her. She kissed back.
I made a strangled noise, Ren put a hand we my mouth and dragged me into the nearest store.
He hugged me in a brotherly way. "It's okay. It's okay, ________."
I stiffened. "I know it's okay." I said. "Because I know who I've chosen now, and does Tokiya. I've chosen Rei-chan and Tokiya has chosen Nanami. I'm done with this moping and thinking."
"You know that's not true." Ren whispered.
"Oh, I know that's it's more than true." I snapped. "If you're really my brother figure, you're going to back me up."
"I'll back you up when you're head is screwed on straight." He answered.
"It is. When we get back, I'm going I'm going to love Reiji the way he loves me. And we'll be happy and..." I started to cry.
Ren held me. "It's okay, you still have half a year to decided. You still have half a year to win Icchi over, ne? Fight for him, __________. I'll defend you."
"You're the best." I whispered.
Sorry it's short. I'm lazy and doing some role play. So comment and vote!! Arigato! ^-^
