HASE FOR EVERY

awkward family dinner

small introduction, Fala and Hawk's parents don't have canon names so I invented them.

And this one shot happens a few weeks after the last episode of the second season.

it was around four in the afternoon when I went to Hawk's room to tell him that our parents plus a guest would be at dinner this evening, "okay, the important thing is not some of the princesses that grandma has brought here...", He answered me with a tired look of all the times he had to hide from certain intrusive princesses, "don't worry, it won't be any of your fangirl to visit us but I can't tell you anything else for now"I said laughing while he looked at me with a vaguely curious look, after a while I said goodbye to him and went to my room to prepare for the special dinner tonight, I can't wait for she comes!

Pov: Hawk

Fala greets me and then leaves my room and goes to hers, now I'm really curious who the guest is and they will have to be at dinner with me and my entire family, which
It happens very rarely, so I was curious to understand who the special guest would be.

{TWO AND A HALF HOUR TIME SKIP}

I was finishing fixing my dark blue jacket in the mirror, "hey little brother are you ready?" I turn around and see Fala in a beautiful bright yellow dress, I must admit she was as beautiful as she always is on the other hand after all she is a Snow White so like all of us she is breathtakingly beautiful, "I was born ready!!" I say as I move my tuft of hair slightly, I hear my sister laugh and I start laughing too it was rare for someone to contagious me with their laughter the only people who managed it were Fala at one point and...Rose Cinderella.

One of the people with the most magnificent laugh I have ever heard, after the prom for the end of the school our group had reunited, it's unlikely that it would happen, she had never been there, since she had told us that she would spend the first weeks of the summer break on Earth with her relatives, which I was sorry about but I was aware that I couldn't decide for her but knowing that on Earth she was much safer than in the Land of Fairytales, so I more or less got over it...

"Come on, let's go, our parents and grandmother are waiting for us."

I nod and we head towards the dining room which had been prepared by the waiters and as soon as we enter I see my father talking to my grandmother, instead my mother smiles at us and approaches me and Fala and then hugs us, I hear her laughing but then he looks at my sister and says, "honey, have you told him who our guest will be?" 'so they knew who they were?' I mentally wondered as Fala shook her head at our mother.

A few seconds passed before I saw a waiter and said in a solemn voice that the special guest had arrived, "right on time!!!" said my sister going towards the door of the living roomheading towards the door of the room and embracing a slender hooded figure, who was holding in his arms a bouquet of white magnoglia and some roses of the same colour, then I see two waiters approach the figure and take the flowers to place in a vase, while the other takes the cloak of the figure who turns out to be Rose Cinderella.

I didn't want to believe that she was there, she wears a magnificent pale pink dress that fades into a light blue with a sweetheart neckline with short balloon sleeves, that dress was simply perfect that it highlighted her figure, I was so enchanted by her appearance that I didn't realize I had opened my mouth slightly and I had even started drooling like a dog, luckily I quickly dispersed and hoped that no one had noticed and I assumed my usual classic demeanor from a prince of my rank, but then seeing Rose approach and bow to my parents who reciprocated "It's a pleasure to see you again Rose and I thank you for accepting our invitation" my father said raising his head and then smiling towards Rose, "I thank you for the invitation King Victor and Queen Daphne" replied the Cinderella with her radiant smile which warms me every time I see it.

Rose turns her head in my grandmother's direction and begins to smile at her which was returned by my grandmother with a nod and a small smile.

After a while we sat down at the table and started to eat there was a pleasant atmosphere, fortunately..., created above all by the numerous conversations between Fala and Rose but after about fifteen minutes my father asked Rose something quite bizarre "Rose are you the next heir to the throne of Certerntola, right?" I saw my grandmother annoyed by my father's question. Rose put the cutlery down for a second and replied "yes, I am the next heir to my grandmother's throne, but why this question?" She said looking at my father "I thank you for answering my question, and in any case my curiosity comes from the fact that in a few months she will be the official princess, so if you had any prince in mind who could be your future husband?" as drinking when my father finished speaking.

I look at my mother who was staring at my grandmother and she was also amazed and my sister was looking at her plate in an embarrassed way, and finally my gaze falls on Rose who doesn't know what to answer is with cheeks of a light reddish shade,and I hear her voice fading and then turning to my father, "sorry what does future husband mean" said Rose finally 'I don't understand my father's question, it's not like him to interfere in the midst of other people's issues...' after a while I see my father with a surprised face "well the fact is that if Hawk, like your boyfriend, would become a king one day" he replies "BOYFRIEND?!?!" Rose and I respond in unison.

'WHERE GOT THE IDEA THAT ROSE AND I ARE TOGETHER!?! I mean, I wouldn't mind it but still!' my father looks at us even more confused than before "sorry but aren't you engaged?" and shortly after I turn towards Rose I see her blushing even more than before and it's really adorable...,"no father, we're not together! but where did you get this idea anyway?" I reply on behalf of myself and Rose who is still surprised, "ah" is the only thing my father says before continuing with "Now I certainly apologize to you Rose and also to my son, but because of your complicity you seem very more than close friends.." my father replied sheepishly.
