As I woke up, I realized I'm on someone's back. I tried to open my eyes, but that was the wrong thing to do because the light blinded me for a second. As I start to regain vision, i saw that the person carrying me had fluffy brown hair. I try to look for more details about the person carrying me and what I have so far is a man with brown hair.
"Damn, my head is killing me," ponyboy says, then the man says, "Just rest pony." The voice sounded oddly familiar, and then he realized that the man that is carrying him is dally... I lay my head on his shoulder and fall back to sleep, wondering why he saved me.
Dally's POV
I started yelling at the girls that they wanted more, so I gave them more. When all of a sudden pony runs out of the house into the street. Before following him I tell them that this was there fault then i run out following him.
By the time I catch up with him I see the soc guys beating him the I nock one out with one punch. I then beat the other to unconsciousness. Before I pick up pony I look at all the cuts and bruises he has than kicking one of the boys with me foot.
