Colet's POV
The day is finally here. The festival that we all been waiting for. We are now here sa gymnasium since sabi ng mga teachers dito daw e heheld ang mga muse. At syempre since pasok kami lahat sa elite seats nasa front kami naka upo at nasa likodan namin ang ibang students.
Random seating lang pero pinili ko ung nasa gitna and the last seat for the top 1 ay nasa unahan ko. Walang umupo kaya nag tataka ako bakit naka display pa ito kung wala din lang uupo.
"What if upoan ko yang seat nayan" pagbabanta ni Jhoanna and I looked at her with my brows arched while she wiggles her brows at me smiling mischievously.
"Ah-araaaay" hinila ba naman ni Stacey tenga nya ahaha deserve.
"Behave junior, nasa front pa naman tayo"
"Pake mo ba? Tsaka d naman kita nanay ah"
"Have some class, Jhoanna. May reputation ka and u cannot even behave properly, argh."
Jhoanna just rolled here eyes to stacey and I mouth her a "deserve". Inirapan lang ako.
"She's right, jho. The dean is here so maybe the first seated person ay nandito rin" Aiah talked and look around .
"Shouldn't you be out there stacey? After sa introduction ay sa-sayaw kayo diba?" Sabi ni mikha kay stacey at si stacey naman nagulat.
"Pft, she forgot about it" I said and laugh at her
"Kaya pala wala si gwen, brb girls" pag papaalam
nya samin and we waved at her.
"Galingan mo ah" pag habol ni jhoanna.
"Naman, nanonood crush ko e"
"EDI WAG MO GALINGAN INA MO" rebat ni jho at nag si tawanan naman kami.
Minutes before the opening I was wondering what maloi looks like rn, we prepared her style and we decided if we can get a chance to see her wear it before she can wear it tom for fitting but Aiah has another plan on her mind saying that it'll be much better if she'll just surprise her looks prepared for the said event...
We have to agree since she do have a point about it.
THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
---
The crowded auditorium buzzed with excitement as the lights dimmed, signaling that the show was about to begin. Colet, along with her friends Mikha and Sheena, found their seats in the front row, eagerly awaiting the start of the Muse Competition. The atmosphere was electric, filled with whispers and soft laughter as the audience settled in.
Colet, however, wasn't paying much attention to the chatter. Her gaze was fixed on the stage, where the contestants would soon appear.
Among the sea of participants, one name had been running through her mind ever since she’d heard it—the name of Maloi.
A fellow student from the Business Department, Maloi was more than just a contender in the competition. She was a mystery, an enigma, and Colet found herself drawn to her, even though she barely knew her. A moment of deja vu hit her especially that night at the bar...
Then, just as the first contestant was announced, Colet’s breath caught in her throat. Maloi stepped into the spotlight, her presence almost ethereal. She wore a black, fitted dress that hugged her form perfectly, the fabric shimmering under the stage lights. It was simple yet breathtaking, and Colet couldn’t tear her eyes away. Maloi’s long, dark hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, and her skin toned skin seemed to glow in contrast to the rich fabric of her dress. She carried herself with a quiet confidence, exuding an aura of elegance and mystery that captivated everyone in the room.
