PRESENT DAY AFTER MALOI'S DISAPPEARANCE.

It had been a normal Saturday afternoon, not until Maloi has gone missing. It wasn’t unusual for her to go out, but that day, something felt different—almost foreboding. Maloi never returned home after that encounter, and no one knew what happened.

"Where is my dearest daughter maloi?"

Her father, Renato De Vera, a prominent businessman known for his power and wealth, was shaken. Maloi was his only child, and the thought of anything happening to her was more than he could bear.

The night was tense in the grand conference room of the De Vera family estate. Renato De Vera, the powerful owner of one of the country's most prestigious universities. He decided to call the top 10 elite seats since it was heard that they're the last one who has been with Maloi before its disappearance.

Meanwhile, Maloi’s friends—Colet, Aiah, Jhoanna, Stacey, Mikha, Gwen, and Sheena—found themselves thrown into a whirlpool of anxiety.

They hadn't known Maloi that long but they grew fond of the girl and none of them could shake the feeling that something terrible had happened.

The last time they saw her, she was excited about a new meeting, but she had left so abruptly. No one knew who she was meeting.

"I don’t care if she just needed a break," Colet said, tears streaming down her face as she paced back and forth. "I know Maloi. She wouldn’t just disappear like this."

Aiah, the ever-calm one, placed a reassuring hand on Colet’s shoulder. "We’ll find her. We need to stick together. Maloi’s strong, and she won’t be gone forever."

But every passing hour only deepened the unease. Jhoanna, usually the funny one in their group, kept her mind on the details. "The parking lot," she muttered, tapping her fingers on her phone screen. "That’s where we need to start. There has to be some clue there. Maybe someone saw something."

Gwen, who was known for her sharp intuition, spoke up softly. "What if whoever took her is watching us? What if they know we’re looking for her?"

Sheena, the youngest gritted her teeth. "No one’s going to get away with this. Not while we’re breathing."

Mikha, the red haired girl just took out her phone and saw a message, "Girl, the owner of the school want to meet us all"

"Give me a break, at a time like this?" Stacey furiously grabbing the glass of water and drink it.

"It says, that it involves Maloi..."

They all look at each other giving a confused look why would the owner of the university middle with this matter.

"Let's go, he might help us" Said Aiah and give them a reassuring smile.

"Maloi is missing," Renato’s voice echoed, cold and firm, as he stood before the elite group. His usually unshakable demeanor had cracks—this was his daughter, and his world had been upended.

"We know, and who are you?" Colet, Ang pangalawa sa upoan nawawalan na ng pasensya na imbis hanapin ang dalaga ay pinatawag pa ito.

"She’s all I have left. I’ve lost so much already, I can’t lose her too." Renato’s voice was strained, and for the first time, Colet saw the man behind the power—vulnerable and broken.

They all exchange looks.

"She's my daughter. The next heir of De Vera"

They all gasped in unison, watching how things unfold before their eyes.

"But she's using the Ricalde" Sheena said trying to unfold the pages more

"She's laying low..." Mikha, who connected the dots why Maloi always so distant almost in everyone

Renato let out a chuckled, " I like you, you caught up just in time." He motion to fill his drinks and a man appear behind him holding a wine...

"Maki?" Jhoanna asked confusedly, "Ah, you know him?" The old man asked and she nodded.
"Stell and maki... the one who I let to be besides my daughter while I do my business."

"So, all this time...." Stacey let out a shaky breath, "Yes, we've been with her to look out since she's the daughter of a mafia"

"I need your help to find her."

============

While he made calls using his high profiled name and tried to leverage his connections, Colet continued to follow leads. She checked the cctv cameras on the parking lot but it was deleted after the day maloi has gone missing . Gwen’s hunch about someone watching them only grew stronger. They had all become suspects to themselves.

But the trail remained cold. Until one day, Mikha, while investigating the parking lot, stumbled across something. A discarded phone. Maloi’s phone. The screen cracked, but it was unmistakably hers. The discovery sent a jolt of hope through the group. It wasn’t much, but it was a piece of the puzzle.

"Maloi must have left us a sign," Mikha said, clutching the phone with trembling hands. "This is her way of telling us she’s still out there."

Aiah nodded. "We need to keep pushing. This isn’t the end. We won’t stop until we find her."

Renato De Vera, too, wouldn’t stop. Each lead they discovered, he followed relentlessly. He wasn’t just the father of a missing girl—he was a man driven by a need to reclaim the one thing he cared about most. Maloi was his world.

But as the search intensified, questions began to arise. Who was the person Maloi had met in the parking lot? And why did they choose that location? Was it a random meeting, or was it something more sinister?

The answers were still elusive, but one thing was certain—Maloi was alive, and her friends and family would stop at nothing to find her. Every corner they turned, every clue they uncovered, led them one step closer to the truth, even if it meant uncovering dark secrets they were unprepared for.

And in the shadows, the person who had taken Maloi was growing nervous. The truth about the meeting in the parking lot was far from simple, and someone would have to pay for what had been set in motion.
