I must remember to put a charm on my door. Or at least a lock. She thought to herself as she followed him out.

He walked ahead of her, along the corridor. "Wait," she ran to catch up. He slowed down a little to match her original pace. "Was there anything in particular you wanted to talk about?"

"I just thought you'd be awake. I couldn't sleep. I explained this."

"I know you explained this but... why did you think a walk was a good idea? I'm in my pajamas and..." she looked down as she walked, realising she was in her pajamas. Shorts and a tank. Nothing underneath. Her cheeks flushed bright red as she crossed her arms over her barely covered chest, the tin material exposing her. Not what she wanted her ex boyfriend to see tonight...

She looked over at this clothes. Also a tank top, with long pajama bottoms, with a jacket folded over his arm. He looked... nice. But nothing more. Just nice.

He handed the jacket to her and she accepted it gratefully, putting it over her and zipping it most the way. "Thank you." She muttered.

"So... did your summer go as planned?" He asked. She nodded in response. "You did the Italy trip?"

"Yeah. It was... fun." She hesitated. He was talking about her trip she had planned with her auntie. She and her were very close and they had been planning it for a while now.

"Well, go on then. Tell me about it." He smiled at her.

They moved through the halls until they reached the outside. She spoke about her trip, not going into too much detail but not being rude and vague. She told him about the sights she saw and the witches and wizards she met. As they found a comfortable spot under a tree.

"She was amazing, really. I'm so glad I had the chance to meet her." He listened to her as she went on. She stared out at the lake as he stared at her. She told herself she wouldn't go on but she couldn't help it. Still, he listened as she spoke, until she finished.

She felt a flush of embarrassment after going on and on. At least she was able to control her rambling enough to not tell him about the incident. Her head turned to face him. He was leaning against the tree as she leaned forward beside him, fiddling with the sleeves of his jacket that she wore.

"I'm glad you had fun," he smiled. She smiled back awkwardly.

"Tell me about your summer. What did you get up to?"

"Not much,"

"Oh, come on. I've rambled on, you've gotta give me something."

"Uhm... i read that book you gave me in June. I brought it with me so I can get it back to you tomorrow."

"Do you mean today? Breakfast is in," she grabbed his wrist to check his watch. "Four hours.... It's half 3 in the morning, Draco."

"I know. Do you want to head back?"

I want to hear about your summer. "Sure, I guess." She stood up, him following her actions, expecting her to say no. He masked his disappointment.

they began to walk back as she asked questions about his last 2 months. Did he read any other books, did he learn any new spells, did he study, did he travel anywhere. They were nearing her dorm room before he stopped and turned to her.

"What?" She asked.

"Look, y/n. I want to talk about... us. How it ended."

"So thats why you asked me to go for a walk..." she looked down and put one foot on top of the other. At least she slipped proper shoes on before she left.
