She stepped out of the shower and patted herself dry before quickly pulling her uniform on. She waved her wand across her head to dry her hair before rushing back to her bedroom to look in the big mirror as she brushed her hair. She looked towards the clock. 7:26. Perfect.
She grabbed her robes and wand before patting her skirt and double checking she had done everything before heading out the door. She cast a quick locking spell before rushing off towards the great hall. Luckily for her, it was just a couple of minutes away from her dorm.
She reached the great hall with a minute to spare. Pansy's gaze immediately spotted her and she ran over to sit with her and the rest of the Slytherins.
"Hey, guys." No Draco, she noticed.
"Hey, y/n. Prepared for class?" Asked Blaise.
"Yeah I should be," she grabbed a slice of toast and began to spread butter. "Defence against the dark arts first, right?" He nodded in response and she smiled, taking a bite of her toast. "Tea, please." She muttered to the tea pot, which floated towards her and poured a fresh cup of tea. "Thank you. Milk, please."
"Why are you always saying please and thank you to the breakfast? It's not like it can hear you." Pansy laughed.
"Because they're helping me, so I shall say please and thank you." She replied. Pansy looked at her with a frown before turning back to Theo. Pansy liked to flirt with one of the boys in their group always, she wasn't sure why she did it. Probably just liked the attention. Theo seemed to be the latest pick. She leaned on his arm whilst talking to him sweetly and looking at him through her lashes.
Y/n's mind wandered back to the previous night. How did they end up in the bed together? She didn't even remember how they went to bed, or who was supposed to be on the sofa, or if thats what they'd even arranged. She was so tired. I hope he doesn't think about it too much.
Draco walked in calmly and sat beside Blaise.
"Overslept?" Blaise smirked. Draco looked at him.
He muttered "Coffee", and grabbed his mug to drink. She sighed to herself. This was going to be a long year.

They made their way to defence against the dark arts before y/n was stopped but a small and rather scared looking Hufflepuff boy. She stopped but the group went ahead. She smiled at the young boy. "Everything okay?""I'm sorry. I cant find my way to divination. I'm going to be late." The fear in his eyes grew.
"Not to worry, just take a left, and then-"
"4 prefects have already given me directions. I just can't find my way."
Great. Now I'm going to be late. "Okay... I can take you." He smiled up at her.
She began walking him through the corridors towards the divination classroom. "Do you know what time it is?" She asked him.
He checked his watch. "9:02. I'm late." He sighed. Me too. And I'll be even later.
"Come on." She began to run, and he followed.
She finally arrived at her own class, noting as she walked in that the clock on the wall read 9:13. Shit, she thought. The new professor looked at her as she ran into the room and stopped abruptly.
"I'm so sorry I'm late, professor. A first year stopped me on my way here and asked for some help getting to his class."
"I see. Well thank you for letting everyone know why you are late, miss y/l/n, take a seat." He smiled.
