The next morning
She groaned as her eyes peeled apart. Her head was pounding. The previous nights events ran through her head, well, what she could remember. Drinking, more drinking, more drinking, walking back with Draco and Snape catching them? That was about it. She couldn't even remember that fully. She just knew she walked back with Draco and got caught by Snape.
Her pillow was on top of her head, her hair was scattered all over her face. She rubbed her hand across her face and lifted her head so slightly to check the time. Lifting her head was a bad idea, it felt like someone had smashed a hammer across it. 11:42. It was Saturday, she had nothing on. She groaned some more and decided she would ride this out in bed.
Her eyes peeled apart once more. She needed some water. She pulled herself up, doing her best to ignore the hammering in her skull. 12:46. She dragged herself off the bed and plodded to the kitchen, passing her notice board along the way. Pouring the water, her brain clicked. She quickly made her way back to her notice board and checked the papers on there. A small piece of wrinkled parchment on the top right corner read "extra credit~DADA. Sat 1pm"
"Fuck!" She shouted, before setting the glass of water on the coffee table and running into the bedroom. Discarding last nights clothes onto the floor, she hopped into the shower and ran her fingers through her hair. She grabbed her toothbrush from the sink and began to brush in between shampooing her hair. She had just over 10 minutes to get ready and to Lupin's class, so she may as well have saved as much time as possible.
Rinsing the shampoo out, she leapt out of the shower and waved her wand across her whole body to dry it and her hair. She brushed through it with her fingers before grabbing the first clothes from her drawers. Some low waist jeans with a black crop top. Perfect. It will do. She looked at the clock and saw 12:56. Shit.
She grabbed a black hoodie just in case before sprinting out of the door with her DADA books and some spare parchment.
Students in the corridors jumped out of the way as she raced through. She arrived at the classroom and knocked on the door before opening it and entering. Professor Lupin turned around with a surprised expression on his face as y/n stood against the door, gripping her books and fighting for breath. She checked the clock. 1pm on the dot.
"Good afternoon, miss y/l/n."
"Hey, Professor. Here for extra credit, remember?"
"Yes, I remember. I assumed you wouldn't be coming after your adventures last night." He smirked. She froze. How does he know? "I was near when you arrived at your dorm with Professor Snape. You looked quite drunk. And acted quite drunk, also."
"Acted?"
"You invited Professor Snape into your dorm." Her mouth dropped open. "I'm sure it isn't on his mind too much, I can assure you." She looked horrified. "Take a seat."
She sat down, embarrassed. "Did you bring your books?" She held her books up to show him before setting them onto the table, still ashamed that she did that. And he saw. "Good. What about a quill?"
She looked around the her books and sighed. "I must have forgot it. I was in a rush leaving, I didn't wake up until 15 minutes ago. I can assure you, I'm not normally like this."
"I can believe that." He stood right in front of her desk, which was opposite his desk, which he was leaning against. Her eyes climbed up to meet his. She was able to study his features a lot better this close. He really was handsome. He had a scar across his face. She wondered what from. "So," he said, bringing her back to reality. "I thought we could go over the notes you have gathered from the week and go from there?"
