Y/n felt a little shaken after her meeting with Dumbledore. She knew he meant well, but reliving that experience was something she had been trying her hardest to erase from her memory. Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy as that. She had tried many things, potions and spells of all sorts, even Obliviate didn't work.

Still, she had to keep going. 1:23. Her lesson started at 1pm. Shit.

She rushed to herbology. On her way in, luckily for her, Professor Sprout's desk was right in front of the door, she went straight to the desk and whispered to the short lady.

"I'm so sorry, Professor, I was at a meeting with Professor Dumbledore."

The lady nodded at her and waved her to sit down. She smiled and ran over to her seat.

"Y/n," she heard. "Y/n." Again. She turned to her left to see Draco.

"What's up, Draco?" They hadn't really seen each other since they both woke up in her bed, and therefore hadn't spoken about it.

"There's a party in the common room on Friday night. I figured I'd tell you since you're not there anymore. All Slytherins are invited though. It's just a start of year party."

"Okay, I'll be there. Thanks." She turned back to her work.

"I was hoping we could, uh... talk? At the party. About... what happened?"

"Okay. I'll find you there."

"Okay," he smiled. "Great. It starts after dinner so at 8."

She nodded and returned to her work again.

The next few days went by quickly. She spent her evenings sorting out her notes and reading up about things from her lessons. Friday came, the day of the Slytherin party, and her shortest day. She had ancient runes just before lunch as her first lessons, then after lunch was transfiguration, then she was done. They went by quickly and the rest of her day up until dinner was spent in her dorm, unpacking. She found the paper describing her incident and realised she had forgotten to take it to Dumbledore because she'd been so busy. She figured she could find Dumbledore before dinner. Or during dinner. It would save her a trip up to his office. The note was tucked carefully into the pocket of her robe, and she continued to spread her belongings in appropriate places around her dorm.

She liked her room. It was nice. As she walked in, she was greeted by the living room. A small area, but big enough for her. There was a black sofa with wooden legs in the centre, able to seat maybe 3 people. There was a coffee table in front of that, the same wood as the legs of the sofa. The room was painted dark green, with 2 windows opposite the door. They were arch shaped and beautifully accented the room. To the right of the door was the kitchen. There was a pass-through between the kitchen and the living room. The door to the kitchen wasn't a door, just an open archway. There were cupboards along the walls, with a small oven and a sink and a fridge. There was a toaster in the corner of the room on the counter, and a matching kettle next to it. The kitchen was smaller than the living room, but big enough for her to dance in whilst she cooked. It was once of her favourite things to do. Opposite the kitchen, to the left of the entrance, was her bedroom. The walls were a light green, like sage. The black metal framed double bed sat in the corner, next to a window, the same shape as the living room windows. Her bedsheets were white and the bedside table held a lamp. There was a chest of drawers opposite her bed, beside the door, the same wood as the bedside table. The wooden floor was a dark shade and had a small rug beside the bed, fluffy and white. Next to the bedside table was a door. This led to her bathroom. Again, small, but she didn't have to share. She had a shower, a bathtub, a toilet and a sink. Perfect for a bathroom. It was a grey room, grey tiles and grey cabinet. Everything else was white. The bathtub intrigued her. It stood on 4 silver legs. She found immediate comfort in the dorm.
