Kaycie sat in the back seat of the Lyft car that she used to get to Savanah's house. Savanah had sent her the directions in the email from the other day.

It was officially summer vacation for her so she was excited to see about this new job that she just threw on some old clothes and some sneakers. Savannah did say in the email that no professional attire just casual what you wear on your fun days will work.

The journey to get to Savannahs place was a lot longer than Kaycie expected. The drive took her almost to the coastline but then the vehicle entered a gated neighborhood that looked like lottery winners lived there.

The car stopped at a two story blue house with white trim and a cobblestone walkway and driveway. The driver informed Kaycie that the ride was paid for.

"Thank you." She said and she handed the driver a 50.00 dollar bill for a tip and exited the vehicle with her purse backpack.

She walked up the walkway and as she got closer to the door... she started to have second thoughts and was about to signal the Lyft driver to come back but she turned around and said to herself..,

" It's summer could be fun."  as she rang the doorbell.

The door opened and a tall woman with brown hair and blue eyes who was wearing a pair of black jeans and chuck Taylor's and a offspring t shirt answered

" Hi there Kaycie, I'm Savannah it's very nice to meet you. Won't you come inside."

" Hi Savannah it's nice to meet you too," as she entered the house.

Kaycie followed Savannah down the hallway. It seemed like it was a good sized house. There was a coat closet and a staircase that led to the upstairs.

They passed a living room with a huge reclining couch and a mounted tv and oddly a playpen in the center of the room that contained some small toys and stuffed animals entered into the kitchen.

There was an island sink and a white marble countertop and a stove, fridge, and a microwave and a four seat wooden table.

An odd thing that Kaycie did notice was that one of the table seats was missing from its space and a high chair was in its place.

" Take a seat if you like." " Would you like something to drink?" Savannah asked

" Umm some hot chocolate would be nice. I had my coffee already." Kaycie said.

"Coming up sweetie." Savannah said and got the drinks started.

There was a big sliding glass door that looked out into a sizable backyard with a pool, a splash pad looking structure and a small grass area that had a small kids playground set on it and still had a big enough area for a kid to play and run around on

" I wonder if it's a babysitter job or something?" Kaycie thought to herself

" Bon appetite ." Savannah said as she set a mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream on it in front of Kaycie and she stayed at the table opposite her with her coffee.

Kaycie took a drink and said....

" Thank you. You have a lovely home." She said.

" Thank you sweetie." " It suits me." Savannah said.

" So what's this job offer?" " You need a babysitter for your kid while you travel the world?" Kaycie said. The inference being she was rich.

" No nothing like that." Savannah said.

" The truth is that Kaycie I want you to be my baby for the summer." Savannah said
