"Are you serious, you guys were literally so in love?" Rahul asked with a shocking face.

While narrating the past I actually relieved the moments with her.

My feelings are mixed right now.
I regret what if I never broked up with her. We would still be together happily.

This is why I hate recalling our past. Because it gives me a hint of hope as well as a never ending disappointment.

"Tell me more please don't leave me on a cliffhanger Devyansh" He requested.

"Look at the time man it's 10:40 pm, have some sense and get back to your home" I replied him and arranged my table which was nearly scattered with documents and files.

"Dev yaar atleast mujhe bata toh de ki tum log alag kyu hue?" He said in annoyance.

"You think I am gonna tell you that?" I asked him.

"Obviously" He replied.

"In your dreams" I smirked and left my office.

I know he wants to know about it and I don't intend to hide anything from him. But it was too much for today.

I walked up to my car and got in.

"Where shall I drop you sir?" asked my driver.

"Take me to Venz Garden" I told him and looked out of the window.

I don't know why I am going there after so many years.

My heart is beating a little bit fast, maybe because of nervousness. Anyways I will just go there and come back within five minutes this is what I decided.

But

The destiny decided something else for me.

I got down from my car when we reached the location and closed the door of the car. I walked few steps ahead and stood infront of the main entrance of the garden.

I had no idea that it would be still open at this time.

I walked inside the gate and looked around me I found no one except the huge trees and plants in my surrounding.

I walked further and thought to explore the area as I was back after a long time.

I found everything a little different but still the same.

I was about to go back but then I heard some noise of music. I usually don't interfere in other's business but right now I felt an urge to just go and check who exactly is here apart from me.

I followed the noise and saw a girl sitting on the bench her back was facing me. I went ahead and tried to see her face.

It was none other than Her.

I was shocked by this encounter but my question was why is she here late at night?

I went near her and stood beside the bench.

"Why are you here?" I asked in a low voice so that she does not get scared by my sudden presence.

She instantly looked at me with a questionable eyes. I understood that she was asking the same question back to me.

"Can I stit here if you don't mind?" I asked her permission before sitting next to her.

She shifted her gaze from me and looked straight.

I thought she is going to deny but in the mean time she just nodded in response.

A small victory smile appeared on my lips which I successfully managed to hide it from her.

"I think you don't know that I bought this place long back, so once in a while I keep coming here" She said while looking up in the sky which was filled with twinkling stars and a bright moon.

It took me five minutes to understand that what exactly she said. She bought this place, it means this garden which was a public property? Like how and why?

Somewhere in my heart I know the answer but I am forced to not believe that reason because I don't want it to turn out as the truth.

Just because we came here twice or thrice when we were together doesn't mean for that reason she would buy the whole damn place right?

This is unbelievable.

"Kyu?" I asked her hesitantly.

She chuckled slightly and asked "Tumhe nahi pata?"

I stayed silent for few minutes.

The more I see her, the more I regret everything.

Suddenly I felt some droplets on my face and then realised that it's going to rain. But in no time the rain started heavily.

I thought that she might smile and enjoy the rain as it was her favourite thing to do. But the scene which appeared in frent of me was not the same.

She stood up from her place and went ahead to find some shelter. This was not her thing she would never run away from rain.

I followed her, she was actually running and grabbed her hand "Kyu bhaag rahi ho, Tumhe toh baarish pasand hai na?" I asked her while my other hand was busy wiping my face which is completely drenched in rain.
