Cassidy's P.O.V
We were in the car for about twenty minutes before we got to the school. The guys talked about soccer and football and lacrosse while I kind of just sat there. I play soccer out of school on a competitive travel team but I try to keep my mouth shut about all of that knowing it will damper on my reputation as being a "girly girl." Remi plays on our schools soccer and lacrosse teams along with Ashton. Jonas doesn't really care for sports all that much. He's less off an athlete and more of a skater I guess.

"Hey Cassi?" Ashton started as the other boys left the car.

"Hm..." I replied grabbing my bag and shutting the door.

"Are you okay? I mean you only ever go alone to your beach house when your upset; and if you're upset you can tell me I'm here for you, you kn...." I stopped him.

"I'm okay Ashton I promise, it was just my parents being my parents." I was trying to keep myself together and gave him a reassuring smile.

"Okay if you're sure...," he began in a serious tone. "Just let me know if I can be of any help." then he winked. Good lord. I knew he was just trying to lighten the mood but ugh that boy."

"You just had to ruin our moment." I laughed and began walking towards the front of the building.

"We were having a moment?" He laughed and caught up to me, quickly pecking me on the cheek and jogged into the building to meet Noah at his locker.

Noah and Ashton are the captains of the soccer team a.k.a the people who have the same soccer abilities but different potential.

Any-Who I walked over to my looker which was by our little sun roof and packed my stuff away. Then I met up with Hannah, Brooke, Nix and Livi. They're kind of my group I guess we're all on the cheer squad and we're all kind of chill I suppose.

Except for Livi. She's always trying to one up me and believe me I don't really care except for when she screws with my personal life. I stay as her friend to avoid as much conflict as possible and believe me you don't ever want Livi on your bad side. I've seen her manipulate people into getting what she wants bribe the 'male' teachers into getting good grades and stealing people's boyfriends just for the fun of it.

"Hey Cassidy." Hannah said happily

"Hey, What's up you guys?" I said as I grabbed my math textbook and journal.

"Not much actually, but did you hear that Nathan cheated on Abby last night?!" Nix stated feeling proud of her recent discovery.

"To be honest I knew it was going to happen it was one of the girls in Livi's other group that her cheated on her with." Brooke retorted.

"Wow I mean I knew he was low but not that low." I replied implying that the conversation didn't really involve us.
Then the bell rang.

When I reached my math class Brooke and I walked and she plunked herself down next to her boyfriend Dennis while I made my way over to Noah and sat down and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Rough night Cass? He asked me wrapping his arm around me.

"Yep." I said popping the 'p'. Everyone looked at us like we were a couple but Noah is just;well I don't know; my best friend. He knows everything about me down to the last detail. I've known him ever since the beginning of sixth grade and since then he's been my best friend.

"Was it your mom?" he asked looking at me with his bright blue eyes that I'm incredibly jealous of.

"Yeah but don't worry about it too much I'll be okay." I said biting my lip realizing it came out more of an unsure statement.

"Okay," he said giving me a goofy crooked smile that seemed to make me feel 1000% better. " just make sure you feel good enough to still get together later." he laughed knowing that I don't want anyone to know about that.
