Once Pip had reached home,she spent the rest of the day in her room and the kitchen going through Sals phone.
Mostly his text between everyone,the text between Sal and Alex were one sided.It was always Alex ranting to Sal,in which Sal could never reply,because Sal was gone. Maybe Alex was getting better,the last text he sent was at least a year old.
The following morning Pippa had tracked down one of Andie Bells bestfriends,Emma Hutton. Interviewing her during her work break,before leaving there on bad terms.

"Pip Fitz-Amobi here."Pippa said pressing the record button on her voice note "Remember,muffins, star costume.."she listed,smiling down the mic she was talking into.
"EPQ,ect."she said before releasing her finger off the screen and sending in the voice message with a large smile on her face before staring another.
"There have been some developments in the Andie Bell case you might be interested in.Perhaps there's a convenient time I could visit you at your house." She informed him as she sent the message,before feeling someone's presence behind her.
"Er,"Her mother said placing a hand on her hip "I remember after they found Sals body,you didn't sleep,for a week,and you did ask a million questions."she reminded the girl.
Pip placed down her phone,leaning back in her chair without turning to her mothers gaze "It never made sense to me."
"You're not going to tell me I can't do it,are you?"Pip asked,turning her head slightly to the left. "I am worried about it,to be honest."she said approaching Pippa.
"You're always worried."Pippa said in a tone that was like a warning of possible laughter. "Just promise me you won't speak to anyone that was revolved around this."She requested before elaborating "The Walters son,the Bells or the Singh family."
"Sure."Pippa shrugged.
"Don't let it get in the way of anything else."She added leaning against the chair as Pippa finally turned to her.
"Like what?"Pippa asked with a smile as her mother pointed to her laptop. "Like this little beauty here."She said as Pip laughed lightly before leaning inwards to explain the screen before her eyes.

Pippas phone buzzed,luckily enough it was during the exact moment her mother exited her bedroom door.
"Sure.And we can talk like Victorian gentlemen when we meet."the text read,as smile and small chuckle formed across the girls face as she began to type back.
"Indubitably."
"Can we meet here?" ༘✈︎ - - -📍 She read before pressing onto the location.

Pippa and Alex met at the location,once meeting they were hit with an unexpected downpour of rain. As unlucky as they usually were,Alex had still managed to bring an umbrella.
"I can't believe you've gone rogue already."Alex remarked "You and I made a solemn pact to be partners...on this case."He reminded her over the sound of rain falling beside them.
"And the first thing you do is go an interview Emma."He said "without me."he added on to make his point more vivid.
"She barely said anything to me."Pippa informed him. "According to Emma,Sal and Andie never argued."she said,emphasising the word never.
Pip huffed "I wish Nat would reply to my messages."
"If a weird girl contacted me I wouldn't reply either."he remarked,earning an elbow in the side from Pip.
"Besides who even is Nat?"He asked with a laugh,holding the umbrella over both their heads.
"Nat da Silva,Andie's other bestfriend."Pippa elaborated. "Oh.."he paused "Ohhh,Nat da Silva."he repeated as he clocked on to who she was talking about.
"Nudgate Nat."He said as Pip stared up at him,pausing in her tracks.A smiling frown appeared on her lips as she looked the boy up and down.
"Nudegate what?She repeated,very clearly choking back on a laugh.

"Tha- I didn't come up with that."he assured the girl quickly as she stared up at him,waiting for him to explain.
"Someone leaked her nudes,it's like a mystery cos no one knows who leaked her."He explained,pushing off their heels to begin walking again.
"What do you think the messages to Andie are about?"Pip asked. "I don't know,there was always some sort of drama with them."He replied "her dad really hated Andie dating Sal so it gave her some problems at home."
"Why did he hate sal?"Pippa asked,her tone defensive and curious.
"Ravi said cause, 'his little blonde Angel was going out with a brown boy.' so that's why he hated him."He explained as he gazed down at her.
"Ugh."Pippa remarked in a disgusted voice as she turned towards the water,Alex following behind her. He watched as she kneeled,gathering a hand full of stones in her hand.
"Do you mind talking about Sal?"She asked,fidgeting with the rocks she'd just gathered. "No one else really wants to,so I kinda like doing it with you."he informed her in a soothed tone,before thinning his lips.
"It's like Sal never existed,you don't see his face anywhere."He said, no longer staring at Pippa instead he stared at he rain that fell into the large circle of water,this time Pippa was staring at him.
"K."Pip said breaking the silence as she passed him a stone "one,two,three."she counted down as the two crouched,skipping the rock across the murky water.
"Ugh."Pippa remarked as her stone stopped after two skips,Alex's stone continuing. "Let's go again."He assured her "best of three."he said as she slipped a stone into his hand.
