"Pip! Stop running."the height she lacked coming to an advantage as he caught up.
Pippa stumbled forwards,dragging Alex down with her.The large yellow flash-light she had brought flew out her hand as she pushed herself up,Alex rolling on the ground beside her.
Pip stared ahead,tears welling in her eyes as she harshly grabbed her flash light that had gone out,
harshly grabbing the two handles turning one rapidly in a circular motion as the light grew brighter.
Pip jolted back with a small yell as a figure sprinted past them,her hand rushing to grab Alex's.
The two turned to each other,looking down before sprinting back to the others.
Pippa and Alex shouted as they crashed into Cara,Pippa and the girl pulling each other into a hug as Cara assured her she was okay.
Alex had grabbed his bag and left,he didn't say anything.He didn't ask if she was okay,he just made sure she was with someone that could look after her.
Lauren and Cara laid on their stomachs inside the marquee while the other three stood on guard on the seats outside.
"It was a fucking serial killer."Lauren spat,her arms rested infront of her.
"Statistically,you're more likely to die in a bath then get murdered by a serial killer."Pippa informed her.
"Who was it then?"She asked turning to Pip with curiosity.
"A hiker who got lost."She replied,her back as stiff as a board as she continued to stare straight,hugging her flashlight close to her.
"Or it was the ghost of Andie bell."
"Or it was just a hiker who got lost."Pippa spat,turning her head to Lauren.
"It's okay guys,me and Zach can keep watch." Connor said,holding a large stick in his hand for defence.
Zach glanced at him with a stare that asked "why me?"
"No offence,Con,but we all saw when Dylan knocked your physics books on the floor."
"It's called the foetus.it's defensive pose,used it a lot of combat situations."He said,leaning back in his seat and crossing his legs.
The group stayed outside for another hour and a half before going back into the large marquee Cara had brought.
