In any drama, this would have led to a kiss. At that moment, I thought so. But, I don't know if it was for better or worse, we were seen by Beomgyu. He ran up and started comforting me, not even knowing what had happened.

I tried to calm down, pulled myself together, and, after apologizing, ran to my room. Entering the office, I locked the door as if a serial killer was chasing me. I sat on the couch and started thinking about what had happened. I didn't like the whole situation. I didn't like that I had burst into tears. Why? When I could have just said what I thought without sentimentality. I didn't like Kai's words! Although he seemed sincere and tried to express his thoughts as gently as possible.

- What a fool I am! - I couldn't forgive myself for my weakness! Ugh...

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I stood up sharply but felt dizzy again. The knock repeated.

- Kama, please open the door! We need to talk.

It was Soobin's voice. Making an effort, I approached the door and opened it. He entered the room and started looking around. It seemed like he was looking for someone. Then he sat on the couch and looked at me questioningly.

- Beomgyu said you were crying, - he began. - Kai didn't explain anything. I need to know everything! Did he hurt you?

I had to tell him everything and explain my behavior again. This time I was cold-blooded. I kept myself together to avoid crying.

- I just wanted to help you. You said you needed a job. And we needed an assistant. That's all!

- Thank you so much! - I said, bowing in gratitude. - You really helped me out.

He calmed down and started smiling. When Soobin smiles, dimples appear on his cheeks! He's so cute! I couldn't take my eyes off him. Then, realizing that this might be misinterpreted, I looked away.

- I have a couple of urgent things to do. I'll join you later, - I said businesslike, sitting down at the computer.

My favorite leader left, and I got absorbed in my work. Quite a long time passed. The clock showed 7 p.m. Work hours ended at 6 p.m. "Time to go home!" I thought and started getting ready. Although I had promised Soobin to join them, for some reason I didn't feel like it. I had gone through a lot that day and was mentally exhausted.

There were supposed to be shoots tomorrow. I had no idea who would pick me up or how I would get there. But I didn't bother thinking about it now. I thought that if no one came for me, I simply wouldn't go. With these thoughts, I put on my jacket and left.

When I left the building, my heart felt lighter. Standing by the exit, I just started inhaling the cool air. How I had missed this! Decision made! I'll take a walk and gather my thoughts. It was cold. I pulled up my hood and walked toward the bus stop. How nice it was! Left alone with my thoughts, I realized that I was suffocating in Hybe. I adored TXT, every one of the members! But I couldn't understand why I felt this way.

Suddenly, a black car stopped next to me. It was like being scalded with boiling water. It was their car! What should I do? Run away? Or fall and pretend to be dead?

The sliding door opened, and Soobin smiled and said:

- Trying to run away from us? It won't work. Get in quickly, or you'll catch a cold! - and he extended his hand.

Everyone was in the car, and there was another man wearing a mask. At the very back were Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Yeonjun, while Kai and Soobin sat in the front. The man was sitting opposite them, and the only free seat was next to him.

- We were supposed to go to the dorm, but we got invited out for dinner, - Soobin said.

- Come with us! - Beomgyu shouted from the back of the car.

- Do you have other plans? - Huening Kai asked, looking at me suspiciously.

- No. I was going to take a walk and then go home. I'm too tired today, - I said.

What could be better than a walk with your idols? Any fan would give anything for this. Strangely, I didn't feel that way. With them, I couldn't be myself. I had to filter every word, every move. I wanted them to like me. Maybe that's why I felt constrained.

At that moment, I wanted to be taken home and left alone. But no, I had to have dinner with them in unknown company.

- We won't let you go! - Beomgyu shouted again, then put on his headphones.

- You can rest there, - Kai added.

Everyone was tired, not just me. Taehyun was sleeping with his head on Beomgyu's shoulder. Kai was staring at his phone. And Soobin and Yeonjun were having a heated discussion about something.

I turned to the window and thought that I didn't look appropriate for dinner. My makeup wasn't fresh anymore, my hair was uncombed, and my clothes were entirely inappropriate. It was getting dark. The urban landscape was slowly changing. Trees along the highway indicated that the car had left the city. After some time, we stopped. The man in the mask opened the door and helped me out. It was a huge mansion covered in ivy. A road with beautiful lanterns led to the house. It looked like it was from the cover of an architectural magazine.

I was in awe. And I was more convinced that I was inappropriately dressed. Another man in a mask got out of the car; he had been sitting next to the driver. He closed the car door and motioned for us to proceed to the house. At the door, we were met by a young, beautiful couple. The woman was just a sweetheart. Fair-skinned, with long black hair. A typical Korean. She was wearing a black pantsuit. And she and her husband complemented each other perfectly.

We were introduced to each other.

- Meet Minji and Jihoon, - said Yeonjun. - This is Kamila.

We bowed and proceeded to the living room.

- They're both news anchors, - Beomgyu whispered in my ear.

The living room was impressive in size and ceiling height, with a huge chandelier hanging from it. Everything was in gold and velvet. I needed to freshen up! I approached Minji and asked where the bathroom was and if I could use it. She stood up and led me down a long corridor, where she pointed to a door. The size and luxury of the bathroom struck me no less. I looked in the mirror. I looked terrible. The pink hoodie looked ridiculous. I brushed my hair and put it in a bun. Refreshed my makeup. Sprayed some perfume. Then washed my hands and looked in the mirror again. It looked much better. Taking a deep breath in and out, I left the bathroom. At the end of the corridor, Kai was pacing, seemingly waiting for me. Seeing me come out, he immediately approached me.

- I wanted to tell you something, - he began. - I don't want you to leave us. Please think before making a decision. You mean a lot to me.

I stood there, rooted to the spot, not knowing what to do. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach.
