In the morning, everyone hurried to the company. Without even having breakfast, we, still sleepy, got into the cars. Soobin, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu sat in one car, while I was with Kai and Taehyun in another. No one spoke during the ride. Taehyun was asleep, and Kai was texting someone on his phone. I passed the time scrolling through social media.

The company was buzzing with activity. We all piled into the elevator. When we reached my floor, I got out and headed to my office, while the others went to the practice room. According to the schedule, they had four hours of dance practice, so I had time to focus on my own tasks.

I had a few calls to make and emails to send. I got down to work, knowing I needed to meet expectations. I didn't want people in the company to think I wasn't capable.

There was a knock at my door. Before I could respond, the door swung open. It was Lea.

I was surprised. Why was she here? Was she going to lecture me?
From the look on her face, I could tell this wasn't going to be a pleasant conversation.

- Well, hello, Kama! That's your name, right? - she said as she sat down on the couch, crossing her legs.
- Hi, Lea. Nice to see you. Last time we met, you left without saying goodbye, - I replied.

She smirked.

- I want to talk to you.

Great, I knew it! Here comes the lecture.

- Kama, I can see you're smart, and I know you'll understand me. As his sister, I have to protect my brother's life from any interference, especially when it comes to his future.

- Lea.... I...
- Please don't interrupt me. Kai has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is. He's achieved so much, and now that he's at the peak of his career, I won't let ANYONE ruin it. He told me about you. He even surprised me by introducing you without warning. I've already spoken to him, and now I need to warn you as well.
- I don't want you in his life. I know that if this relationship continues, it will destroy everything. I hope you understand me.

I didn't know why I didn't object to her words. I stood there, listening with no emotion on my face, as though those words weren't directed at me. But inside, my heart was breaking. I knew there was some truth in what she said, and that made it hurt even more.

She was waiting for my response.

- Lea, are you finished? - I asked, keeping my voice calm.
She stood up, walked over to me, and took my hands.
- I've said everything I needed to.
- I've listened to you, - I said, turning away and pointing to the door. - Now, please leave.

I didn't see her reaction, but the loud slam of the door made me flinch. Tears began to stream down my face...

I wanted to throw everything away and run. Naturally, my motivation to work vanished. What should I do? Go home from work? I wiped my tears. I was feeling awful. I needed to finish the work I had started. I sat down at the computer. My thoughts were scattered, and I couldn't focus.

I left the room and decided to walk through the corridors. Maybe it would help me clear my head. I didn't use the elevator; I just started going down the stairs. On some floor, I saw an open door to a room.

The room was small, with no windows. There was a computer desk. In the corner, in a case, stood a guitar. There was also an electronic piano. It was so quiet and cozy here. I went in and closed the door behind me. I turned on the piano and began trying to recall melodies I had learned before. But I couldn't remember any. I started playing the melody of "Opening Sequence." The song was my favorite. After watching the dance video of this song on YouTube, I fell in love with Kai. My heart was aching. I really wanted to see him. I really did...

I took out my phone and wrote to him:
" I don't know which floor this is, and I don't know which room this is, but I do know one thing: you need to be here with me right now!"

Too bold! After thinking for a moment, I sent him the message.
Oh God, what have I done! But it was already done! I decided to wait for 10 minutes and then leave. I set a timer and stared at the rapidly moving numbers. Why did the minutes slow down? I wanted to escape quickly. I shouldn't have sent that message!

As always, my feelings were ahead of my thoughts. I began pacing the small room like a trapped animal. I hoped he hadn't seen the message. Two more minutes...

There was no sound outside the door. I was anxious and angry with myself. One more minute and that's it...

I closed my eyes.
Everything will be okay! Breathe! Everything will be okay!
The timer beeped. I could leave now! He hadn't come. What a relief! They were at dance practice and too busy to answer texts and calls. I calmed down. I would think of what to say to him later.

Taking the door handle, I confidently opened the door.
Oh God, Kai was standing right in front of me!
I was stunned and almost fainted.
He was all sweaty. His wet, black hair was falling over his face, covering his eyes and forehead. He looked so attractive at that moment.

- I found you, - he said softly, looking me straight in the eyes.
I stepped back. He walked into the room behind me and locked the door.

- I..... - I began. - Kai, I...

The words got stuck in my throat.
Oh my God, how beautiful he was!
He looked at me and waited.
He pushed his hair back with his hand, revealing his forehead. The action made my blood boil and my breathing quicken. I approached him and touched his damp face. Kai closed his eyes. I couldn't help but run my thumb over his lips.

No, I can't do this! What's wrong with you, Kama? Stop! - my inner voice said.
But I couldn't stop...
Everything was pushing me towards him.
I hugged him tightly around the waist and rested my head on his chest. The beat of his heart was clearly audible. I could listen to it for the rest of my life. The whole world around us stopped.
I couldn't hold back the tears and started crying.

- I love you, - I sobbed. - I love you so much...

Kai was silent. He just hugged me even tighter.
Why is he silent? Doesn't he love me? I'm such a fool! I shouldn't have confessed my feelings to him.
But suddenly Kai buried his fingers in my hair and began kissing it.
Then, gently taking my face in his hands, he passionately kissed my tear-salty lips.
I wanted this so much...
I missed it so much...

He pressed me closer, and I felt the heat radiating from his body. The deep and prolonged kiss made my head spin, and I began to lose control.
Not pulling his lips away from mine, Kai whispered, almost in a breath:

- I love you, madly...
