The day had been a relentless pursuit of clues, each lead promising a potential breakthrough in the mystery I was unravelling. As dusk settled, Ishita and I found ourselves in an open area through the call, discussing our findings. The cool breeze offered a brief respite, but our minds were still racing with unanswered questions.

Lost in conversation, I was on a call, deeply engaged with a potential informant who seemed to hold a crucial piece of information. The urgency in her voice matched my own, and I barely noticed the shadows gathering around me until it was too late.

"I'm telling you, Siya, there has to be something more, Keep digging. You're bound to find a clue," Ishita's voice came through the phone, tinged with concern.

"I hope so," I replied softly, my gaze wandering over the tranquil surroundings. The last rays of the setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, a stark contrast to the turmoil within me. Suddenly, the peaceful moment shattered. A group of men appeared out of nowhere, rough hands seized me from behind, clamping over my mouth to stifle any outcry. Panic surged through me as I struggled against their vice-like grip, the phone slipping from my hand.

They dragged me forcefully to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts, their rough handling making my heart race even faster. Inside the house, the stale air and dim lighting intensified my fear. I pleaded and fought, but the goons paid no heed to my cries. A surge of fear gripped my heart as their intentions became clear. They had no qualms about their actions, their voices cold and calculating. Desperation clawed at me as I fought against their hold, but their strength was overwhelming.

They pulled my straps, causing my eyes to widen in fear, as a surge of panic gripped my heart.

"No! Leave me, you bastards!" I yelled, but they seemed deaf to my pleas. I tried to kick them, but they held my legs open, pulling me down, bringing more tears to my eyes. I screamed, bringing my nails toward the goon who hovered over me.

"Ah, she smells so good," the same person sniffed near my neck, causing me to push him hard, but the other two gripped my hands from each side, making me helpless.

"Let me have her first," one of them said, their lewd words making me shout in agony.

"Bastard...," he slapped me across the cheeks, bringing his dirty face near mine.

"Just do it already, or let me have her."

"Please, God, save me," I prayed silently, hoping my self-defence skills would kick in, but their grip was too hard. Just when despair threatened to overwhelm me, the door burst open with a loud crash. Hukum stormed in, his presence commanding and formidable. His PA followed close behind, ready for action. The goons turned, momentarily stunned by the unexpected intrusion.
