The sun had barely risen, casting a warm, golden light across the Rathore mansion. Today, Tanishk had called us; Yuvan and me to meet him. The last few days had been a whirlwind with the Shekhawat family getting busier, and tomorrow, Yuvan's wedding would be the grand event. But first, I had to deal with the surprise of my life.

Tanishk, the last person I expected to pull a stunt like this, had sent word that he had something to tell us. And damn, the bombshell he dropped was nothing short of a heart attack waiting to happen. Tanishk got married?

I ran my hand over my jaw, shaking my head in disbelief. Are these men trying to kill me with surprise announcements? First Yuvan, now Tanishk. My own family friends members, getting married without even giving me a hint! The anxiety was creeping up on me, but I pushed it aside. They're first to come.

As I approached the gates of Singhaniya Mansion, I caught sight of Yuvan's sleek, black car rolling in. It was almost comical, how both of us showed up in the different style at the same time, as if it were planned. We nodded silently at each other before stepping out of our respective vehicles, both of us equally curious, yet apprehensive about what Tanishk had to reveal....since already he revealed enough to give us almost an heart attack.

The moment we walked in, entering inside the large, well planned garden; a woman appeared from the distance, walking toward us with an innocent yet composed air. I could tell she was well aware of the importance of her presence, but the protective aura she emitted didn't sit well with me. She was confident, almost too confident, as she stared at us.

I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Who is she?

"Who are you two?" she asked in a polite yet stern tone, eyeing us as if we were uninvited guests. Her gaze shifted between Yuvan and me, and she pointed toward a nearby bench.

"Please sit down quietly on the couch over there. Tanishk sir will be here shortly. No need to go inside," I exchanged a silent look with Yuvan. The raised eyebrow was mutual. Is this... our bhabhi?

Neither of us had the chance to ask more questions before she turned and walked briskly toward the door of the mansion. And right behind her came Tanishk...looking as if he had just walked out of a storm. And damn, it wasn't just the storm outside. There was a storm in his eyes too. His expression darkened as he noticed us sitting, waiting.

The woman was already talking to him, and I swear, I could see her telling him something. I looked to Yuvan, and we both raised an eyebrow. Was she complaining about us? I couldn't be sure, but I didn't like the tension that was suddenly thick in the air. And then Tanishk took long stride coming toward us, walking confidently, his hand clasped around the woman's...no doubt, his wife.
