Through all the years, through all the trials,
some things will never change!

˚ ༘♡ 🪷🪕🪞🦢⋆。˚ ❀I watched in utter disbelief as Ishita, bruised and battered, was back with Adhiraj and Rithvik. My heart clenched tightly at the sight of her. I couldn't stop the tears that welled up in my eyes. She looked so fragile, a broken doll, but still, she was alive. I rushed to her, wrapping my arms around her tightly, my body trembling with relief and fear.
"Ishu," I whispered softly, my voice cracking as I hugged her even closer.
"What happened to you? What did they do to you?" She didn't say a word, but the tears that rolled down her bruised face spoke volumes. I pulled her closer, trying to shield her from the world, from the pain she'd endured. My mind raced with fears I couldn't bear to voice. What if something had happened to her? What if we lost her too?
I noticed Hukum-sa stood beside us, his eyes hard, his face covered in dust and bruises, his fists clenched in anger, but even that couldn't hide the worry that consumed him.
"You said, there's possibilities of your father ... .Is Shikh-ar ji?" Maa-sa asked quietly, hope evident in her tone as she turned to Hukum-sa. But he, too, was a broken man beneath his hardened exterior.
"Baba- sa's at the hospital, Maa," he whispered, his voice filled with grief. His words seemed to hang in the air; a weight that no one could lift. Maa-sa's eyes flickered with disbelief, and before any of us could react, she swayed. I gasped, stepping forward, but Hukum-sa was faster, catching her in his arms just in time.
"Maa-saa!" he shouted in panic, cradling her. His knuckles were bruised, and his eyes were wild with fear, just like Rithvik's, Yuvan's, and Tanishk's. I could see their silent pain, their struggle to keep it together, but it wasn't working.
None of us were fine.
"Get the car ready right now!" He barked, his voice sharp with urgency. He didn't hesitate for a second before picking up Maa-sa, cradling her carefully in his arms, and rushing toward the car. Whereas Yuvan rushed to roar the engine. I barely had time to process what was happening before Rithvik, Priya, Dadi-sa, Ishita and I piled into the car behind them. The drive to the hospital was a blur, my heart pounding in my chest as I watched the worried expressions of everyone around me.
At the Hospital:
As soon as we arrived, everyone rushed inside. Hukum-sa moved swiftly, his face a mask of determination, but his eyes were filled with a storm of emotions that couldn't be contained. He called the doctor, his voice low but filled with urgency, and then Maa-sa was shifted to the VIP ward, the same one where I assume Baba-sa was.
"What's happening to my f-family?" Dadi-sa, her face pale with fear, rushed to Hukum-sa the moment she saw him, her arms wrapping around him in a tight hug.
