Parker's POV
Cassidy had been blowing up my phone every hour, on the hour for the past four days. I didn't know what the hell she could possibly want, but I did know that I was gonna put an end to it. "We need to talk" I said and she sucked her teeth opening the door wider, allowing me to enter the home.
"Come on, we can talk in my room" she began wobbling toward her room. She was now a full 6 months and showing very well on her petite body. She still had a body that could kill, and a face just as beautiful as ever but I her belly was just a reminder of how much I hated her. We walked in her room and she layed on the bed, motioning for me to get in with her.
"I'm good" I stood against the doorway and kept a stone face on. No emotion was the only way to get rid of this girl. If you gave her an inch, she took 12 miles. Cassidy was a loving person but she was also crazy as hell, and I don't need that in my life at this point. "Look Cass, you gotta chill.."
"Chill with what Park?.. Why you act like you never loved me? like I'm some trick off the side of the street."
"Because you made your bed and now you gotta lie in it.. you did this to us Cassidy, I did love you, I gave you all of me, I gave you everything I could and still wasn't enough, so don't sit here and act as if I was the one who let us fall apart." I said almost yelling at her. Cassidy was once the love of my life, I would've taken a bullet for this girl any day on these streets. I treated her as the queen she was. I gave her all she could ever ask for except for sex, and because of that, she found it elsewhere.
We sat there in silence for a minute. "Parker I'm sorry." I shook my head at her.
"Sorry ain't enough now Cass! You sitting here with another nigga seed inside of you. A nigga who was once my homie! You laid up with that nigga and now you wanna blow up my phone? For what Cassidy?!"
"Because I know I fucked up Parker! Because I know what I did was wrong, and I want to make it right Parker.. I miss you" she got off the bed and walked over to me. I shifted my weight to another stance. She placed her hands on my cheeks and tried to look in my eyes. "Park look at me! Are you really trying to tell me that there is absolutely nothing left for us? You're trying to tell me you don't love me anymore?! At all?"
I stood silent for a minute before clearing my throat and looking at her. I grabbed her hands off of my face. "Cassidy I loved you.. I did love you.. I may still have love for you, but this here, me and you.. this shit is done. I have a wife waiting at home. A girl who's down to ride through thick and thin, somebody that can grow with me, somebody that is nothing like you."
Cassidy pouted and began pacing in her room. "So you just replace me Parker?! That quick, huh? Just boom, new girl" she said snapping her fingers and being over the top. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes Cass! You made it that damn easy for me." I shouted at her. She jumped.
"I understand Parker" she sighed and looked to me. "I understand." She got up and began to walk toward the door. I soon followed. She looked defeated. I did love her once, but she wasn't the girl I once knew anymore. She opened the door for me. "I'll leave you alone"
I looked to her and brought her in for a hug. "Be safe Cass, good luck." I kissed her forehead and began on my way. I only prayed that Cassidy really did understand, and would leave us alone. I can't deal with her madness at this point in my life.
Chase's POV
After my shower, I sat and thought for a while, I knew I had to talk to Parker about moving to New York. The fact that we would be with Cell made me happy, knowing we would be safe. My only reservations were toward what exactly Parker was doing. I wanted to know more though, this could be my out. I could be on my way to another life. One where I wouldn't have to worry about how I would eat or if the light bill would be paid. I know JoJo would want me out of this place, and to be happy.
