Thanks for all support im so grateful to have you all all my readers followers and people who vote my story it just makes my day <3

It's the first of September, the day students needed to go back to Hogwarts.

...and Harry personally would NOT like to go.

"They'll be gossiping about me again and stuff." Harry's voice was muffled due to him burying his head on Remus' jumper. "It's all over the Prophet that you and Padfoot are my guardians. There's lots of students envying me for it. I don't really want to go."

"Haz, sweetie, you're fourteen. You need to finish school so you'll get a good job."

Remus glanced at the clock and held back a sigh when he saw it was only eight o'clock. He just hopes Harry gets to the train before it leaves.

"Padfoot told me if all else fails, he'll fund me a food truck." Harry protested, clinging onto the soft material harder, missing Remus sending a scathing glare at the man in front of him. Sirius smiled innocently. "I'm a good cook, Kreacher said so."

"Do we have to go?" Harry asked forlornly after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

Remus and Sirius had taken to letting Harry's haywire thoughts to settle before engaging the kid to see their perspective. It worked wonders and helped Harry rewire his brain to responses and lower his guard. They were taking baby steps on removing the conditioned responses and identifying Harry's defense mechanisms.

"Yes, pup." Sirius said, kneeling by the kid and enveloping him in a warm hug, nuzzling his unkempt hair. "We love you to bits and pieces and we want you to go experience Hogwarts."

"But you guys will travel, I wanna go too!"

That was what initiated the first fight they had weeks ago, when Harry wanted to go travel with his guardians. The summer was too short this time, time really does go fast when you're having fun.

"What if something happens? What if-"

Remus cut off all the 'what ifs' speech Harry had been worrying himself over and hugged the child as well.

"Do you have your mirror with you, Haz?" Remus murmured on Harry's temple, smiling when he felt the child nod. "Then, it's as if you'll be with us, yeah? If you miss us so much, you can call upon it every night."

"When you come back by the holidays, pup, we'll be taking you to wherever you want to go." Sirius promised. "We won't forget to send you a care package every other week, it's also something to remind you we're alright. Is that okay for you?"

"Okay." Harry acquiesced. "But promise me you'll go back the moment something happens."

Remus and Sirius glanced at each other, smiling before leaning down and simultaneously kissing Harry's cheeks.

"Promise."

Actually, Harry knew he'd lost the moment they rebuffed all his what ifs weeks ago, but there's a tingling sensation that something else is going to happen this school year that he can't help but worry.

He just really hopes nothing is going to happen.

Draco focused on the food in front of him, chewing silently. The breakfast table was silent. It wasn't anything heavy or tense, it was always like the calm before the storm kind of thing.

"Draco." Lucius called.

"Yes, Father?" Draco asked after gulping down his food and wiping his mouth with a napkin.
