Sorry it took look had to read the books to see what has happened
Draco Malfoy is living the life.
He's been sleeping well lately, the Beauxbatons students loved to walk with him during the mornings, the Durmstrang students were polite when interacting with him, his homework and projects are all turned over, he is in first place in Pureblood Training AND the current first place holder in the Fourth years. Not to mention the incredible amount of potions he'd brewed improved.
Best of all...
"There we go, now it's not annoying you, am I right?" Draco asked gently, stroking the warm dragon scale in front of him where he removed splinters of wood. The Chinese Fireball made a noise of agreement and lightly fluttered its wings.
Being the medical intern gave Draco the 'go-sign' to tend to dragons!!
Draco smiled happily once he finished scanning the Chinese Fireball and everything came out fine.
"Thank you, Malfoy." Charlie patted the Slytherin's back before stepping back when Draco pointed his wand at the older Weasley. "The dragons must love you with how they behaved so much during the checkup."
Draco scoffed, "Of course they'd love me."
Charlie chuckled. "There's some little ones that got tended by Madame Pomfrey earlier and you should've seen how grumpy they are."
"You brought dragonlings?" Draco tilted his head, curious. "Isn't the long travel detrimental to their health?"
"Not at all," Charlie answered lightly before steering the conversation away, leading Draco to the Welsh Green cave.
Draco hummed, distracted as the slumbering Welsh Green came to view. He lightly stroked its wings and sent a warming charm towards the dragon who rumbled as it got even more comfortable.
"The Welsh's been docile after Madame Pomfrey gave it some potions after breakfast." Augustus, a fellow Dragon Tamer, informed the newcomers. "She's been sleeping it off for a while."
"Want to see the Swedish Short-Snout as well, Malfoy?" Charlie asked, eyes scanning the other Tamers outside to look for the caretaker. He saw Veruca and Mike, the ones in charge for the Chinese Fireball emerged from their assigned cave, reading a copy of Draco's report.
"Of course." Draco sneered, it was obvious he's doing rounds. "Madame Pomfrey expects a full report for every dragon, Weasley, or did you forget?"
Augustus looked at the Slytherin in shock before letting out a cackle, his laughter echoing in the cave. Draco sent him a look of irritation before getting on with his scans.
"Alrighty, you've been using your magic nonstop so I figured you'd want a break." Charlie answered after he got Augustus to calm down. In his peripheral vision, he saw Violet finally go inside her assigned dragon's cave.
"I'm in a school for magick, Weasley." Draco informed him, emphasizing the words. "I'm bound to use magic nonstop. Don't fuss so much, I know my limits."
Draco paused, "Unlike you Gryffindors."
Charlie chuckled at that before raising his hands in surrender.
"Don't hex the messenger, Slytherin Prince. Some dragonlings told me you never know when to stop, that's all."
Draco rolled his eyes, "Don't patronise me. The Weasley twins and the Golden Trio don't know me that well."
"Ah," Charlie grinned, "but you knew immediately where I got it from."
Draco conjured some paper and quill, writing something down as he began to speak.
