"(Name)!" You turned over to look at the sound of a familiar voice calling for you. You were met by the far figure of Uzui Tengen, the sound hashira; also the person whom you consider as your master waved at you in signal as you approached him.

"Tengen!" You smiled.

"I'm glad you made it." Tengen gave you a pat and an approved smile. "You were quick to respond to my crow. Quick and flashy, just as expected from my tsugoku!" He praised you with another praise. You returned his grin with a chuckle of happiness at being complimented like that.

"Thank you!" You exclaimed with stars all over you which he simply laughed at. "So, what did you want from me?"

"Let's go out to eat!"  His face lit up with excitement as if he had just won a prize. You raised an eyebrow in confusion and amusement.

"Is that why you called me here at your estate?"  Your eyes glinted with anticipation as you waited patiently for his reply.

"Of course!"

"But what about your wives?" You questioned. "Don't you want them to come with us?"

"Don't worry about them," He waved it off dismissively before continuing with a grin. "They're on a mission together in the flashiest place in Japan!"

Most flashiest place in Japan?

"Where's that?"  You didn't even know Japan had any places that were labelled 'flashiest'.

"The entertainment district!"  He replied as though you were stupid.

"Oh." That was all you said. That caught you off guard, so he allowed his 3 wives to go to the place where prostitutes were most common? You shivered. Not like you care about the prostitutes on there, but it was a bit concerning. Nevertheless, you knew his wives were capable of things themselves so that thought put you at ease.

As soon as Tengen saw your stone-faced expression, he laughed and ruffled your hair, making you blush slightly. "What's with that look on your face?"

"Nothing. But why that place though..." You trailed off, thinking back to when Tengen told his wives how much he loved them during dinner at the mansion one evening. "Never mind that! We should get going if you want to have lunch! While the sun is still here!"

"Alright—!" Tengen's enthusiasm for the meal only increased. You could already imagine what kind of food he would buy you today, you also grinned in thought. Yet that thought was broken into pieces when you heard your crow caw for more information.

"Caw! Caw! (Full Name)! Please go to Yotsugi, Katsushika City! Mission alongside Uzui Tengen! Caw! Caw!"

"Eh..." Your happy expression fell into a gloomy one as your crow landed on your shoulder. "Are you serious?"

"Yes!" Your crow responded. You let out a sigh, opening your haori and taking out a treat to feed your crow. The bird immediately began pecking at it eagerly and ate in seconds. This was normal behaviour for your crow after all.

"I guess your plan to take me out to lunch is postponed, Tengen."  You commented dryly as you looked up with an amused smile.

"Bad timing, how right you are." If your ears weren't deceiving you, you might have heard a small 'tsk' from him. "But I don't mind it! The two of us are partners in this mission, underling!"

You sweatdropped when he pinched both of your cheeks together.

"Okay!" You chuckled at his antics before he released your cheeks from his grip. After all these months of working with Tengen, you learned that he was really nice once you got to know him. Sure he might have a large ego but he was a really great guy, not to mention really strong and handsome too!
