I blinked my eyes open, and my head was throbbing. "Was I unconscious...?"

Rubbing my head as I realized what's happening. "Hm...? What am I doing in this dark room?"

I gasped, "That's right! I was waiting for
the bus and -" I hit my head against
something.

"Owww..." Holding my forehead, "A
wall?" I placed my hand on the wall.

"The hell's going on here?! Someone let
me out!" I pounded against the wall.
The sound of creaking wood was heard. "I'M GONNA MISS THE BUS!" I yelled, breaking the lid down.

My eyes widened at the sight of floating coffins and a mirror, a huge chandelier above. "Where am I...? I was just at the bus stop a minute ago..."

Looking at the lid, "Hm? That's
shaped like... A coffin?!" I shouted in
shock.

"How did i get in a coffin...?" I stepped back.

Muttering was heard all over, "Hey... That guy came out of the gate all by himself... How does that even happen?"

(A group of weird people in cloaks?! Am I dreaming or something...?)

Honestly... Coming through the door on
your own accord is virtually unheard of.
Why are you in such a hurry?" A man with crow mask said.

Startled, I grabbed my kendo bag, pointing it the crow man, "Stay away from me!!"

The crow man held up his hand, "Please, calm yourself! I have given you no reason to distrust me."

"UM, JUST LOOKINGAT YOU BRINGS UP ALL KINDS OF RED FLAGS!!" I yelled, still holding my shinai towards the suspicious man. "This place and you guys... What in the world's going on?! Why am I even here?!"

Crow man placed his hand on his hips,
"Why? Why, that is because you were chosen."

I repeated in confusion, "Chosen...?"

"Hmm, I see your mind is still somewhat hazy." Crow man cupped his chin.

"Well, it happens. Let me briefly explain
things for you." Crow man snapped his
fingers. "This is Night Raven College. A
prestigious magician training school in
Twisted Wonderland. Where the chosen
few with exceptional magical talent
gather from all around the world."

"Ma..gic?" My eyes widened, "You mean magic... Like in anime?" I questioned.

"You're here because the Mirror of Darkness has recognized your magical prowess. A black carriage carrying a gate must have come to pick you up, as well."

(A black carriage... So that wasn't a
dream...?!)

The crow man turned around and clapped his hands. "Now! That about does it for explanation. The entrance ceremony is about to begin."

"HOLD UP! I DON'T GET THIS AT ALL. THIS HAS ALL GOT TO BE SOME SORT OF MISTAKE, RIGHT? FOR STARTERS, I CAN'T EVEN USE MAGIC!!" I yelled, making the Crow man turn around.

"What did you say...?

"Plus... I've got an important match tomorrow!" Staring at my Kendo bag. Grabbing my bag and tossing it over my shoulder, clenching the bag tightly as I trudge toward the doors, "So excuse
me!"
