"Ugh, he should've been here by now," Chloé thought to herself all the while preparing for school break before Mrs. Bustier's next class.
Meanwhile outside of the school, Adrien hobbled as fast as he could with his crutch in his hand toward the school, "It's alright. You're gonna make it. You didn't register yourself for nothing!" he thought to himself. With his bodyguard and his father's secretary on his tail, swinging around to meet him just as he was about to enter the school but Nathalie quickly got out of the car and tried to make him change his mind.
"Adrien, please reconsider! You know what your father wants!" Nathalie called out, with Placide beside her.
"But this is what I wanna do!" Adrien tried to reason, then he saw an old man struggling to get up with his cane just out of reach, which had fallen. Adrien ran past Nathalie and Placide over to him, gave him the cane back and helped him to his feet.
"Thank you, young man," the old man said.
"You’re welcome, sir. Trust me, I know what it’s like to be out of reach of your own walking stick," Adrien said as he patted his own crutch and gave a small smile.
When Adrien turned around, both Nathalie and Placide the bodyguard were blocking the stairs and looking at him, with a defeated sigh, they then ushered Adrien back into the car and drove him home.
"I just wanna go to school like everybody else. What's so wrong with that? Please don't tell my father about all of this," Adrien murmured that last part as he looked back over to the old man who was now looking back at him with a sad expression in his eyes, no doubt feeling sorry for him.
"He really needs a positive voice in his home. One might think this is just the tip of the iceberg, especially if a kid his age wants to go to school! I think I have made my decision!" Master Fu thought to himself. He then nodded to himself, put his cane on his shoulder, and walked effortlessly away while humming Frère Jacques.
Then he paused with both mini boxes in hand as he tried to figure out which to give to each of the two who helped him. On the one hand, what he had thought previously still held up but on the other hand there were some extra things about those two that he had noticed, aside from meeting both a decade ago, the girl looked like she was afraid of her own shadow even though she had saved a bunch of people including him from that plane crash and the boy had a certain cockiness to the way he moved and talked. He then smiled as he figured out as to what to do with both jewelry and as to which should go to whom, sort of. "I will let you both decide, and remember, get along!" He then magically transported the two miraculi into their rooms, and hoped he made the right choice.
