Later that night after the rain had stopped, Adrien as Cat Noir was setting up a romantic evening with color-changing candles on a balcony not too far from the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, where Bridgette was done painting her toenails red with black spots on the balcony.

Both she and her twin had agreed to wear at least one of the earrings so that they could be in each other's place and come up with excuses for why the other wasn't there, something Tikki approved of. Marinette had made copies of the earrings so that it looked like both were wearing both pieces of the Miraculous. She looked up and saw Cat Noir setting up the candles, so she carefully waddled back inside.
"Hey, sis, guess who’s waiting for his lady just next door?" Bridgette said.
"Adrien?" Marinette asked.
"I guess Adrien and Cat Noir could be the same person, so I’m gonna say yes to that, I mean it is okay to know each other’s secret identities just between Ladybug and Cat Noir, right Tikki? Or if that happened each would have to give up their Miraculouses?" Bridgette said.
"No, neither would have to do that, that is so stupid," Tikki remarked.
"Okay then, so, spots on! You know the drill, sis."
"You know I do, now go have fun!" Bridgette told her sister.
Ladybug sat down on her roof looking away from Cat Noir’s surprise, pretending not to notice. Cat Noir took notice of her and jumped over to her, landing on his feet.
"Hey, would it be alright if I showed you something, Milady?" Cat Noir asked.
"Of course, Kitty. Is it a surprise? If so, I’ll keep my eyes closed, okay?" Ladybug assured.
"Okay," he said as he picked her up and whisked her over to the random balcony.
Ladybug kept her eyes closed at the surprise Cat Noir set up.
"Just give me a minute," he told her as he set Ladybug down and lit up the candles which changed colors. "Alright, you can open your eyes now," he told her.
Ladybug opened her eyes and looked around in awe. "Wow! Cat Noir, this is so... beautiful!" she said in awe and wonder.
"Aren’t you glad you came?" Cat Noir asked.
"Yes, yes, I am," Ladybug admitted still in awe of the beauty of his surprise.

"I had my fingers crossed because I really wanted you to come, and here you are," Cat Noir told her

"I had my fingers crossed because I really wanted you to come, and here you are," Cat Noir told her.
Ladybug then walked over next to him and said, "I have a surprise for you too. Spot-"
Cat Noir interrupted her, "No, wait. Ladybug, I don’t want to see your true self, at least not yet. Because, I’m scared of Hawk Moth’s powers, he could hurt you, or use me to hurt you, and I don’t want either to happen."
"I understand, Cat Noir. Maybe, one day we can. Maybe we can still take this opportunity to know each other," Ladybug said softly and sweetly.
Cat Noir held out his hand to Ladybug in agreement, but she held his arm and rested her head on his shoulder instead as they walked up the aisle, then Ladybug kissed his cheek and made Cat Noir blush madly.
"Hey!" Cat Noir quietly exclaimed.
There was a silence. They looked at each other. Cat Noir smiled before he handed her a red rose, which Ladybug took.
"You mean everything to me," He said before he kissed her cheek then he told her, "You can keep the rose. It goes well with your costume. Dinner, Milady?" Cat Noir said.
"Why, yes please! I presume it’s spaghetti?" Ladybug pondered playfully.
"It sure is. I had to consult a cookbook in order to get it just right," Cat Noir told her. "I also somehow burnt my hands, almost as if these suits are..." "Our skin," Ladybug finished for him. They sat down for their dinner (where Cat Noir had somehow set up a piano as a table for her while he played it) all while an electric guitar could be heard from the Dupain-Cheng home. "She's quite a natural at that, isn't she?" Cat Noir complemented Bridgette. "Yes, yes she is. She really loves that thing," Ladybug added knowing full well that Bridge absolutely LOVED playing her electric guitar at such random times in a single day, whether tunelessly or not. She decided to not focus on her and get back to Cat Noir who looked annoyed at Bridge's playing of the instrument while he had the piano with him, Ladybug quickly told him, "Best to ignore her and how about playing me a song. Cat Noir nodded and grinned a grin that would've made the Grinch blush for how wide it was.
