Teto checked her watch for the fourth time that morning. It's about time I leave... She thought to herself. It was only a 10 minute walk to the place of the interview, and she still had 30 minutes of extra time to spare. But she didn't want to make a bad impression.. What if she somehow got held back and arrived late? She really wanted this job!

Ugh stop overthinking things! I won't be late! ...but it won't hurt to show up a bit early.. After a few more moments of internal conflict, she finally grabbed her bag and stepped out the door. She walked down the street, her pace quickening ever so slightly as she mentally recited answers to the questions she could be asked. Of course even if she did get accepted, there would be auditions for the different roles that she needed to consider... and she still didn't even know what the show was supposed to be about! Not yet, at least.

Around halfway to the studio, Teto felt a strange prickle on her skin but only brushed it off as nervousness. That's when she got struck by lightning. Pain seared through her body and her eyes shut tight as her body fell limp to the ground. But after a few moments, it mysteriously faded away.

With great confusion and fear, she tentatively opened one eye. A bright light surrounded her and she somehow managed to get up on her own two feet again. It was almost as if she were in another world...

"How... what... where..." Teto murmured before breaking off into a startled shriek and scrambling back after catching sight of a face floating down from the shining sky. The face had shoulder length curly blonde hair- well, if it had any shoulders.

"W-Who the heck are YOU??? Or.. what are you!???" Teto stammered, her face distraught and confused.

"Dear child, fear not." The face said in a voice that sounded prettier than she looked. "I bring not good tidings, but a shining hope to ward dark times ahead. The-"

Whatever the face said next was lost in the interruption of another unknown voice. "Ann, sweetie! It's not time yet!" Another head, which looked more like a Frankenstein than a man, appeared out of nowhere. "We must wait, it's too early!" He announced gruffly.

"Oh dear, I think you're right." The lady's floating face then turned back to Teto with a kind smile. "I'm terribly sorry for this inconvenience."

Before Teto could even say triple baka, the faces had already lifted into the blinding expanse above her. And the next thing she knew, she was back on the sidewalk next to the road like nothing ever happened. "What just.. ugh this is giving me a headache..." She shook her head and checked her watch. "HUH? I HAVE 2 MINUTES!?!?" How had so much time passed?? She broke into a run. There was no time to ponder on this, no matter how weird it was!! She wouldn't let this make her late!!
