"GOODBYE Y/N!"
Nobara, Megumi and Satoru waved their hand goodbye to you as you did the same. You smiled brightly, "Goodbye to you guys too! let's go out some time, shall we?", you suggested as they nodded in response.
Nobara turned to Yuji beside you and pointed a finger at him, "Make sure that she'll get home safe okay? take care of her or else...", she threatened and cracked her knuckles. The pink-haired boy beside you awkwardly chuckled and hid behind you.
"O-Of course! Sensei, I'm going to stay at Y/n's for tonight. Is that alright with you?", Yuji asked. You watched as Nobara, Megumi and Satoru's face paled. You tilted your head at their reaction.
"Y-YO-YOU'RE WHAT?! ARE YOU TWO TOGETHER?!?", the three exclaimed in unison while you and Yuji kept your hands on your ears to reduce their loud voices.
The pink-haired boy blushed, "I-I- NO!- WE ARE NOT TOGETHER!! WE'RE BEST FRIENDS Y'KNOW!", he exclaimed while you still kept your hands in your ears, covering them. Man, are they always this chaotic?
"Whatever you say! alright, let's head home. Nobara, Megumi.", Satoru stated and glanced at his two students as they nodded. They bid their goodbyes one more time as they turned their back at the two of you and walked away.
Yuji watched as they left, now that him and you are the only ones left, he awkwardly chuckled, "Man, they're always like this! I'm sorry for their chaotic actions..", he stated then turned to you. His eyes widened when he saw your eyes tearing up.
Did I do something wrong?.., he thought.
He eyed you for a moment, thinking of what he should do. Until he engulfed you into his arms, "Hey.. tell me what's bothering you, hm?", he asked gently and caressed your back, trying to calm you down.
You sobbed and sniffled, "N-Nothing... it's just- sorry.. I'm so emotional!", you exclaimed in embarrassment as the boy chuckled with you still in his arms.
He patted your head and looked at your face, backing away just a bit, "Do you mind telling me while we walk?", he smiled softly as you looked up at him and nodded.
He let out a hum then held your hand as the two of you walked. You dried your tears by your handkerchief and sniffled, "I'm sorry... it's just- I'm so happy that you've found yourself a bunch of new friends. I'm so happy that you've found happiness once again even after all that happened in your life. I'm so proud that you never give up in your life and enjoy things even when your life is in danger. I love how positive you are after what you've gone to. I'm so happy for you, Yuji.", you stated with a delightful smile.
It was quiet for a moment, until you felt a tug on your shoulder, stopping you from your tracks. You turned around to see the pink-haired boy's eyes tearing up while a smile is kept on his face. Your eyes widened as you smiled back as well. You opened your arms wide, "Come here, I'll give you a tight hug.", you smiled softly as the boy ran to your arms.
