"Y/N! your friend is here!"
Your mother, M/n called your name out. You quickly ran downstairs to meet your friend none other than the spiky pink-haired boy, Yuji Itadori.
You smiled upon seeing Yuji and the boy grinned back at you, "Hey! let's go,", he spoke as you grabbed your shoes and wore it.
You turned to your mother and smiled softly, "I'll be heading to school mom, take care!", your mother simply nodded and smiled back.
You know that your mother is trying her best to get you a great life because of your father who passed away. It is sorrowful having a father not around to take responsibility of the family. So your mother is taking all the responsibility for your own good especially when you grow up.
You turned to your friend then held his hand and got out of the house. You retracted your hand slowly and looked at him, "Do we have any assignments?", you asked while both you and Yuji walk side by side.
"Nope. The last homework we did was the other day.", Yuji replied. You simply nodded as the two of you continued walking to school.
You open up a topic, "Oh yeah by the way, how is it going with the occult research club?", you glanced at the boy beside you as the boy hummed in wonder.
"No one has joined yet!! I'm only with Setsuko and Takashi together.", the boy sighed. You chuckled at his reaction.
"What are you three even doing there?", You asked.
"We're into spooky things! that's why we're together in the club.", he says somewhat proud. You could only chuckle at his childish reactions.
Even thought the pink-haired boy is actually childish, he does have a good heart and a great mindset that lets him have many friends. He's also goofy but he has his own side of him that's mature. That's what makes him unique, and maybe also the reason as to why you like his presence around.
I mean.. who would even hate the boy? he's a ray of sunshine.
It took both of you a few minutes walk to finally arrive at the school. You and Yuji waved goodbyes then parted ways and went to your own classes to start the day.
