Ice-Shadow Hashira

Part III

Azalea's finally back at the Mist Estate and she saw Muichiro at the training hall. She sat by the door and watched until she fell asleep due to exhaustion. Muichiro saw her sleeping by the door and he smiled.

"She must be tired to fall asleep by the door," Muichiro thought.

"We are done for the day. You can go" Muichiro instructed.

He then approached Azalea and carried her without waking her up. He proceeded to go to their room and cuddled with her instead.

"Sleep tight, Lea," he whispered, kissing her forehead.

Next day, Azalea still feel sleepy when Muichiro heard that they are being summoned. So he tapped her shoulder to wake her up.

"Lea, wake up. We are being summoned," Muichiro informed.

She groggily stood up and walked to the bathroom that made Muichiro chuckle. When she came out, she changed her clothes but she's still rubbing her eyes.

"Still sleepy?" Muichiro asked, as he combed her hair.

Azalea just nod her head so Muichiro decided to carry her on his back. She grabbed her mask and wore it then put her head on his shoulder.

Once Muichiro arrived, he was the last one to arrive. He was about to stand beside Giyuu when Kagaya motioned him to go in front.

"Sorry, I'm late, Oyakata-sama" Muichiro bowed, with Azalea still on his back.

"It's alright cause I can see that she's still asleep," Kagaya said.

Kagaya sat in front of them and touched Azalea's cheek that made her stir awake and look at Kagaya.

"Hey Pa," she greeted, sleepily.

"I called for a meeting to introduce you but it looks like you're tired," Kagaya said softly.

Azalea yawned then tapped Muichiro's shoulder to put her down so he did. He sat beside Azalea who was still trying to keep her eyes open that made Muichiro chuckle and Kagaya smile.

"That's her," Rengoku suddenly blurted out.

"What do you mean, Mate?" Uzui asked.

"The girl I added to my report earlier," Rengoku answered.

"The one who helped you and young Kamado?" Uzui asked again.

"Hai," Rengoku confirmed.

They looked in front again and they saw Kagaya stroking her hair. Then his daughters started to tie Azalea's hair then she smiled at them after they were done and they just hugged her.

Kagaya then stood up and let them sit in front and looked at the Hashiras.

"As I said earlier, you will meet someone. She is not just a new slayer but she is also the 10th Hashira. She's been one since 14 like Muichiro. The Hashira who have been secretly helping you with your missions," Kagaya informed.

"Child, introduce yourself please," he added.

"Azalea, Ice-Shadow Hashira," she introduced.

She then removed her mask that made Giyuu froze on his spot. And Azalea also froze when she looked around and stopped at Giyuu.

"Azi, is that you?" he asked, shocked.

Azalea teared-up then ran towards Giyuu and hugged him tight.

"Nii-chan!!" Azalea cried in his arms as he hugged her back and cried silently as well.
